Job Description: Solar Executive – Operations, Sales & Execution

Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Solar Executive to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of solar projects. This hybrid role bridges the gap between pre-sales technical assessments and on-site project execution. You will be responsible for ensuring that solar installations are feasible, cost-effective, high-quality, and completed within established timelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Sales & Technical Feasibility

Conduct thorough site visits to assess rooftop viability, including shadow analysis and structural suitability.
Consult with clients to understand their energy requirements and recommend optimal solar system sizes.
Prepare comprehensive site assessment reports and technical recommendations.

2. Costing & Project Planning

Develop accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on site analysis and system designs.
Estimate overall project costs, covering materials, labor, and ancillary expenses.
Assist in creating competitive client quotations and proposals while maintaining cost efficiency.

3. Operations & On-Site Execution

Manage the full lifecycle of solar projects from initial planning through to commissioning.
Supervise daily site progress, ensuring all installation activities align with technical designs and safety standards.
Proactively resolve on-site technical issues to prevent project bottlenecks.

4. Team, Material, & Quality Management

Labour Supervision: Assign daily tasks, supervise technicians/electricians, and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols.
Material Control: Manage material requirements according to the BOQ, coordinate with procurement to prevent shortages, and minimize wastage.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the highest standards for structural and electrical installations.

5. Liaisoning & Regulatory Compliance

Manage communication and documentation with government authorities and DISCOMs.
Facilitate necessary approvals and manage the net metering process.
Provide regular status updates to clients regarding approval timelines.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining effective coordination between sales, technical, and execution teams.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of solar installation procedures, electrical standards, and structural requirements.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to manage vendors, laborers, and high-stakes client relationships.
Problem-Solving: Ability to take corrective action swiftly when faced with delays or quality concerns.

Compensation & Terms

Salary: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month.
Key Performance Indicators: Timely project delivery, adherence to quality standards, and customer satisfaction ratings.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
