Position Summary
The Senior Salesforce Developer / Administrator is the sole owner and technical expert for the company's Salesforce platform and related business systems. This hands-on role is responsible for the administration, development, enhancement, integration, security, and ongoing support of Salesforce across Sales, Order Processing, Customer Management, Partner/Reseller Operations, and external business systems.
Acting as both the Salesforce Administrator and Lead Developer, this position partners directly with Sales, Operations, Finance, IT, and external vendors to deliver business solutions that improve efficiency, visibility, and customer experience. The role will maintain and enhance critical integrations with NetSuite; ERP, Cimatron's Thales Licensing platform, reseller partner portals, and third-party security screening requirements.
This position requires a highly self-sufficient Salesforce professional who can own an entire platform and translating global business requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
Organization summary of the position:
Cimatron helps mold makers build tooling, regardless of complexity and size, with an integrated CAD/CAM solution for mold and die design and manufacturing. It offers a wide range of specific design and application tools, as well as a comprehensive set of NC technologies, ranging from 2.5-axis milling and drilling to complex 5-axis machining. Our products and services are designed to enhance the efficiency and productivity of our clients worldwide.
Management line and team:
Reports to the Soft Infra Manager and works closely with various internal stakeholders (sales team, order processing, finance…) as well as some external stakeholders (Partners, resellers,…).
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Platform Ownership
- Serve as the primary owner and administrator of the Salesforce environment.
- Manage all aspects of Salesforce configuration, customization, maintenance, security, and platform governance.
- Maintain system reliability, performance, and user adoption.
- Evaluate new Salesforce capabilities and recommend platform improvements with an holistic view and integrated all stakeholders view.
Establish and maintain best practices for data integrity, security, and system design.

Salesforce Development & Automation
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using:
- Apex
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Flow Builder
- SOQL/SOSL
- APIs and Web Services
- Build and maintain business process automation to support Sales and Order Management activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Salesforce and integrated systems.
Perform system enhancements and ongoing modifications based on evolving business needs.

Sales Process Management
- Support and enhance lead, opportunity, quotation, forecasting, and account management processes.
- Improve Salesforce workflows to increase sales productivity and visibility.
- Build dashboards, reports, and analytics supporting leadership decision-making.
Partner closely with Sales Management to optimize CRM adoption and effectiveness.

Order Processing & Operational Support
- Develop and maintain Salesforce processes supporting order entry and order management.
- Ensure smooth flow of information between Salesforce and downstream operational systems.
- Partner with customer service, operations, and finance teams to streamline order processing activities.
Support process improvements that reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy.

NetSuite Integration Management
- Serve as the Salesforce subject matter expert for Salesforce-NetSuite integration.
- Maintain and enhance synchronization of:
- Accounts
- Customers
- Opportunities
- Sales Orders
- Product information
- Pricing data
- Investigate and resolve integration issues and data discrepancies.
Coordinate with NetSuite administrators, consultants, and vendors as required.

Cimatron / Thales Licensing Integration
- Manage and support Salesforce integration requirements related to Cimatron's Thales Licensing environment.
- Automate license provisioning and tracking workflows where applicable.
- Ensure accurate customer, license, and entitlement information is maintained across systems.
Coordinate with software vendors to resolve integration or licensing issues.

Reseller Portal Management
- Design, maintain, and enhance reseller-facing Salesforce portal capabilities.
- Support partner registration, opportunity management, deal registration, and sales order workflows.
- Improve partner experience through automation and process improvements.
Ensure appropriate security and data visibility controls are maintained for external users.

Security & Compliance
- Support customer and corporate security requirements, including Sandvik security screening processes and related compliance initiatives.
- Manage Salesforce user access, permission sets, roles, and sharing rules.
- Conduct periodic security reviews and audits.
- Implement Salesforce security best practices and governance controls.
Support compliance with corporate cybersecurity and data privacy requirements.

Vendor & Business Partner Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for Salesforce-related consultants and integration vendors.
- Coordinate with external technology partners to implement enhancements and resolve technical issues.
- Manage Salesforce releases, testing, and deployment activities.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Experience
- 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration and development experience.
- Proven experience supporting Salesforce as the primary system owner.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
- Experience supporting sales operations and order management processes.
- Experience building and maintaining integrations using APIs and middleware tools.
Experience working directly with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
