Position: Costing & Estimation Engineer (Industrial Electrical Projects)

Location: As per Project Requirement (Maharashtra)

Experience: 5–8 Years (Industrial Electrical Projects)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Megha Electrical Services is a leading electrical contracting company specializing in industrial, commercial, and infrastructure electrical projects. We are committed to delivering high-quality electrical solutions while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and timely project execution.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Costing & Estimation Engineer to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for industrial electrical projects.
Review tender documents, technical specifications, BOQs, and electrical drawings.
Perform quantity take-off (QTO) from AutoCAD drawings.
Prepare material and labour cost estimates.
Conduct rate analysis for electrical items.
Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare technical and commercial bid documents.
Coordinate with procurement, project, and design teams.
Estimate costs for HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, substations, panels, cable trays, earthing, lighting, DG systems, fire alarm, CCTV, and ELV systems.
Prepare project budgets and cost comparison statements.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality.
Maintain estimation records and project cost databases.
Support project handover to execution teams after order finalization.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
Rate analysis and project costing.
Tender documentation and bid preparation.
Vendor quotation comparison.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Ability to work under deadlines.

Educational Qualification

Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.

Experience Required

Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial electrical project estimation.
Experience in EPC, manufacturing plants, commercial buildings, warehouses, or infrastructure projects will be preferred.
