Senior Analyst – Pursuit Specialist - Government & Public Services (GPS) – Pursuit Center of Excellence (PCOE)

The Pursuit Specialist provides best in class bid support and works closely with proposal manager and account teams. They ensure compliance with client requirements for competitive opportunities in the Deloitte Government and Public Sector.

Work you’ll do

As a Pursuit Specialist, you will be part of leading the proposal effort for competitive opportunities

Pursuit Management

o Lead all day-to-day coordination of responding to RFP/RFI

o Prepare a sound plan for the pursuit and ensure the bid is run in line as per internal and client timelines

o Suggest pursuit team on effective win themes and messaging strategies

o Apply brand and legal compliance standards to all response documents/attachments

Teaming, Collaboration and Leading:

o Work collaboratively, both in-person and remotely with account teams

o Work with graphic design professionals to develop creative and informational graphics

o Use teaming opportunities to develop and guide junior-level resources.

o Adjust to last minute requirements, and occasional late evening/weekend hours to accomplish tasks within non-negotiable client deadlines

Operational

o Accountable for quality checks, maintain a quality checklist to ensure 100% quality on all documents

o Manage content for proposal documents and related collateral. Maintain version control

o Manage the overall process to develop value- focused deliverables

o Development and implementation of leading pursuit practices

Qualifications

Required

3-5 years of experience in pursuit/bid management
Master’s Degree, preferably in Business/Management

Skills

Exceptional written and oral communication skills, preferably in US English
Intellectual curiosity and ability to “get smart quick” on a wide variety of topics
Prioritize and multitask within a fast-paced, challenging, and deadline-driven environment
Ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management
Project management skills and superior Microsoft Office skills
High level of flexibility and adaptability
Attention to detail and exceptional follow-up skills
Team-oriented with a proven ability to manage multiple projects at once

Work Timings: 11:00 am to 8:00 pm

The Government and Public Services (GPS) team provides solutions in support of market positioning and business acquisition activities to maximize Deloitte’s revenue, relationships, and reputation in the Government marketplace. The team works closely with the US GPS channels including Marketing and Communications, Information Management, Account Management, Competitive & Market Intelligence, Pursuits, and Strategy.
