Job Description: Social Media Executive

Job Title: Social Media Executive Intern

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative, strategic, and client-focused Social Media Executive to manage and grow our brands across multiple social media platforms. The ideal candidate should have expertise in content strategy, copywriting, campaign planning, client communication, and social media analytics. They should be confident on camera, possess a strong creative mindset, and be able to conceptualize engaging campaigns that align with each brand’s identity and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Management

* Manage and maintain social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X (Twitter), and other relevant channels.

* Plan, schedule, publish, and monitor content across all platforms.

* Ensure consistency in brand tone, messaging, and visual identity.

2. Social Media Strategy & Content Planning

* Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for multiple brands.

* Research industry trends, competitors, and audience behavior to create impactful campaigns.

* Prepare monthly content calendars and marketing plans.

* Conceptualize innovative campaigns and promotional activities to increase engagement and brand awareness.

3. Copywriting & Content Creation

* Create compelling and engaging captions, ad copies, taglines, scripts, and campaign content.

* Ensure all written communication reflects the brand’s voice and objectives.

* Possess strong understanding of content nuances, storytelling, and SEO-friendly content writing.

4. Creative Conceptualization & Design Coordination

* Understand each brand’s identity, target audience, and business objectives.

* Conceptualize creative designs, advertisements, reels, and visual campaigns.

* Collaborate with graphic designers and video editors to produce high-quality creative assets.

* Provide innovative ideas for social media creatives and promotional campaigns.

5. Client Servicing & Communication

* Act as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for assigned clients.

* Understand client requirements and translate them into effective marketing strategies.

* Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication.

* Ensure complete clarity in discussions to avoid ambiguity and maintain seamless project execution.

* Present campaign ideas, reports, and strategies professionally.

6. Video Content & Camera Presence

* Appear confidently in front of the camera for reels, promotional videos, and brand campaigns.

* Record engaging content following current social media trends.

* Coordinate with the creative team during video shoots.

7. Social Media Analytics & Reporting

* Monitor campaign performance using social media insights and analytics tools.

* Track KPIs including reach, engagement, impressions, conversions, and audience growth.

* Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable recommendations.

* Suggest improvements based on campaign performance and market trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Business, or a related field.

* 1–3 years of experience in Social Media Marketing or Digital Marketing (Freshers with exceptional portfolios may also apply).

* Strong understanding of all major social media platforms and current digital trends.

* Excellent copywriting and communication skills in English.

* Creative mindset with the ability to conceptualize innovative marketing campaigns.

* Strong client management and stakeholder communication skills.

* Camera-friendly personality with confidence in speaking and presenting on video.

* Ability to multitask and manage multiple brands simultaneously.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Technical Skills

* Social Media Management Tools (Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, etc.)

* Canva

* Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

* Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)

* PowerPoint Presentation Creation

* Basic understanding of video editing tools is an added advantage.

* Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools.

* Ability to work independently and in a team.

* Strong organizational and time-management skills.

* Passion for social media, branding, and digital marketing.
