Senior Sales Engineer – Roles & Responsibilities
( COIMBATORE / CHENNAI / HOSUR)

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities within manufacturing industries such as Automotive, Aerospace, General Engineering, Precision Components, Die & Mould, and Heavy Engineering.
Promote and sell CNC Machine Tools, Metrology Equipment, Industrial Automation Solutions, and related engineering products.
Conduct customer visits to understand machining requirements and recommend the most suitable technical solutions.
Prepare and present machine demonstrations, technical presentations, proposals, and commercial quotations.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, consultants, OEMs, and channel partners.
Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close sales while achieving monthly and annual revenue targets.
Manage the complete sales cycle—from lead generation and qualification to order closure, installation coordination, and post-sales customer support.
Coordinate with application engineers, service engineers, and suppliers to deliver effective technical solutions to customers.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
Ensure timely follow-up on enquiries, quotations, customer feedback, and payment collections.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and forecasts through the company's CRM system.
Represent the company at industrial exhibitions, trade fairs, technical seminars, and customer events to generate business opportunities.
Travel extensively within the assigned territory to develop and manage customer relationships.

Desired Skills

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand machining processes and manufacturing requirements.
Customer-focused mindset with excellent relationship-building abilities.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.

Preferred Experience

Experience in selling CNC Machine Tools, Cutting Tools, Industrial Machinery, Automation, Metrology, Machine Accessories, or Capital Equipment.
Existing network within manufacturing industries is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
