Job Description – Business Development Department

Designation: Business Development Executive / Business Development Manager
Location: Assam / Pan India
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

Techflora is looking for motivated and result-oriented professionals to join our Business Development Department. The BD team will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing corporate relationships, acquiring clients, and generating revenue across Techflora's various business verticals.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication, negotiation, networking, and client-handling skills, with a strong focus on achieving business targets.

Key Responsibilities1. Business Development

Identify and generate new business opportunities.
Research potential clients, companies, institutions, and organizations.
Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
Generate leads through calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking, references, and field visits.
Convert qualified leads into business opportunities.

2. Client Acquisition

Approach potential corporate and institutional clients.
Understand client requirements and propose suitable Techflora services.
Prepare and present business proposals, quotations, and presentations.
Negotiate commercial terms and close deals.
Maintain long-term relationships with existing and newly acquired clients.

3. Corporate & Institutional Tie-Ups

Develop partnerships with companies, banks, insurance companies, educational institutions, hospitals, government/private organizations, and other businesses.
Explore opportunities for manpower, payroll, staffing, security, outsourcing, technology, and other applicable services.
Coordinate with decision-makers, HR departments, procurement teams, and business owners.

4. Sales & Revenue

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
Maintain accurate records of leads, proposals, negotiations, and closures.
Follow up with prospects until successful conversion.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Techflora services.

5. Coordination

Coordinate with Operations, HR, Finance, Payroll, Recruitment, and Management teams for smooth client onboarding.
Ensure proper handover of confirmed clients to the relevant operational team.
Resolve initial client queries and coordinate internally for timely solutions.

6. Market Development

Monitor competitors, market trends, pricing, and new business opportunities.
Identify new sectors and geographical markets for Techflora.
Develop strategies for expanding Techflora's client base and revenue.

Required Skills

Lead generation and sales skills.
Strong networking ability.
Ability to prepare proposals and quotations.
Basic knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace.

Preferred Experience

Experience in Business Development, Sales, B2B Sales, Corporate Sales, Staffing, HR Services, Payroll, Security Services, IT Services, or Outsourcing will be preferred.
Freshers with excellent communication and business development skills may also be considered for entry-level positions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Number of qualified leads generated.
Number of client meetings and presentations.
Number of proposals/quotations submitted.
New clients acquired.
Monthly/quarterly revenue generated.
Conversion rate.
Client retention and relationship development.
New corporate/institutional partnerships.

Reporting

Reports To: Head of Business Development / Director / Managing Director

Compensation

Salary: As per experience and company policy
Incentive: Performance-based incentives/commission may be applicable.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for individuals who are confident, professional, highly motivated, target-oriented, and capable of building strong business relationships. Candidates should be willing to travel for client meetings and business development activities whenever required.

Core Objective

To increase Techflora's client base, partnerships, market presence, and revenue through systematic business development and client acquisition.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
