Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹55,000 per month + Performance Incentive up to ₹30,000 per month

About the Role -

TUANZ is looking for a highly driven and hands-on Retail Operations & Business Manager to take ownership of the overall performance of our multi-store retail business.

This is a sales-driven business management role, not just an administrative or store operations position.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing multiple TUANZ stores, driving revenue growth, managing Store Managers and teams, improving store productivity, coordinating with Head Office departments, and ensuring smooth day-to-day business operations.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership, make decisions, solve problems independently and drive the business toward its sales and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Growth

- Take ownership of overall monthly sales targets across all TUANZ stores.

- Drive store-wise revenue growth and ensure achievement of targets.

- Analyse underperforming stores and implement corrective action plans.

- Monitor key retail KPIs including conversion, average transaction value, walk-ins and staff productivity.

- Identify opportunities to increase repeat business and customer retention.

- Develop practical initiatives to improve store sales and profitability.

Multi-Store Operations

- Oversee the day-to-day functioning of all TUANZ retail outlets.

- Conduct regular store visits and performance reviews.

- Ensure company SOPs, customer service standards and operational discipline are followed.

- Ensure appropriate staffing, grooming, store hygiene and visual merchandising standards.

- Resolve operational issues independently and escalate only important matters to management.

Team Leadership :

- Manage and review Store Managers and retail teams.

- Conduct structured weekly performance reviews.

- Set clear targets and action points for individual stores.

- Monitor staff productivity and identify training requirements.

- Build a strong culture of accountability, discipline and sales performance.

- Coordinate with HR for recruitment and manpower requirements.

Stock & Merchandising :

- Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure adequate stock availability across stores.

- Monitor replenishment and stock shortages affecting sales.

- Review ageing and slow-moving inventory.

- Ensure appropriate product assortment and merchandising across locations.

- Provide management with store-level feedback regarding customer demand and product movement.

Marketing & E-Commerce Coordination :

- Coordinate with the Marketing and E-Commerce teams/agencies from a business perspective.

- Ensure promotions and campaigns are properly executed across stores.

- Provide feedback on customer behaviour, products, offers and market trends.

- Coordinate online and offline initiatives to support overall TUANZ revenue growth.

MIS & Management Reporting :

- Review Target vs Actual sales performance weekly.

- Identify gaps and prepare corrective action plans.

- Track agreed retail KPIs and action points.

- Provide management with a concise weekly business performance report.

- Ensure decisions and action points are followed through to completion.

Candidate Profile :

We are looking for candidates with:

- 5–8 years of relevant retail experience.

- Experience managing multiple retail outlets is strongly preferred.

- Experience managing Store Managers and sales teams.

- Strong understanding of sales targets and retail KPIs.

- Proven ability to improve store sales and team productivity.

- Strong leadership and people-management skills.

- Good understanding of inventory, merchandising and customer experience.

- Ability to take independent day-to-day business decisions.

- Strong problem-solving and execution skills.

- Good knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets and MIS reporting.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Industry Experience :

Candidates from Jewellery, Fashion, Accessories, Watches, Beauty, Luxury or Premium Lifestyle Retail will be preferred.

Jewellery retail experience will be an added advantage.

Compensation : Fixed Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹55,000 per month

Performance Incentive: Up to ₹30,000 per month based on achievement of defined sales and business performance targets.

High-performing candidates will therefore have the opportunity to earn up to approximately ₹80,000 – ₹85,000 per month.
