The Analyst, IT Risk & Compliance will support their team members in ensuring the IT Controls are working as designed and Compliance is met. The incumbent will manage the IT SOX monitoring activities and respond to any request around control validation and improvements. They are also responsible for providing the assistance to internal and external stakeholders around IT controls and supporting IT audits.
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Provides technical guidance for directing and monitoring information systems operations. Analyzes these results and recommends changes to improved processing and utilization.
- Works closely with clients to identify business needs and the costs and benefits of implementing a computing solution and then develops design specifications based on user requirements, negotiates options with clients and then develops prototypes; codes, tests, debugs and documents programs.
- Advises on organizational, procedural, and workflow plans, methods and procedures analysis within the department.
- Updates policies, processes to incorporate business and regulatory compliance requirements as well as enforces security measures to ensure audit readiness.
- Works with other IT experts and IT departments to address networking and hardware needs.
- Participates in POC to assess vendor solutions
- Prepares test data and test methodologies.
- Provides 3rd level application support.
- Trains end user trainers, support and maintenance personnel.
- Strong project planning and project control skills

- Proficient in Business Partnering

- Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
- 1 to 3 Years; Up to 3 years of experience with IT general controls or/and security best practices. Also, recent graduates from University with programs like Computer science or IT security/IT controls. Working towards CISO certification. Available security courses around security and compliance
