Assistant General Manager – Marketing

Location: Bhilai, Chhattisgarh
Salary: ₹80,000 – ₹1,20,000 per month
Job Type: Full-time
Experience: 10–15 Years

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager – Marketing to lead brand strategy, digital marketing, and new product marketing for a leading manufacturing organization. This is a strategic leadership role focused on building brand presence, launching new brands, and driving marketing initiatives across India.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute brand strategy to strengthen market presence.
Lead the launch of new brands, including brand identity, positioning, and go-to-market execution.
Drive digital marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, social media, website management, performance marketing, and lead generation.
Plan and execute product marketing campaigns, catalogues, brochures, technical datasheets, and product launch activities.
Manage dealer and retail marketing initiatives, branding, POS/POP materials, exhibitions, and dealer engagement programs.
Coordinate with creative agencies, digital partners, and external vendors.
Prepare and manage marketing budgets while ensuring optimum ROI.
Monitor campaign performance, brand visibility, and marketing KPIs.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, and Management.

Required Qualifications

MBA / PGDM in Marketing (Full-time preferred).
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field will be an added advantage.
Digital Marketing Certifications (Google, Meta, HubSpot, etc.) are preferred.

Experience & Skills

10–15 years of marketing experience in a B2B manufacturing company.
Proven experience in launching a brand from concept to market.
Strong expertise in Brand Management, Digital Marketing, Performance Marketing, SEO, SEM, and Lead Generation.
Experience in product marketing and marketing communication.
Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience managing marketing agencies and budgets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates from Steel, Pipes, TMT Bars, Building Materials, Cement, Tiles, Electrical Products, Industrial Manufacturing, or related B2B industries will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Strategic thinker with strong analytical abilities.
Creative mindset with excellent brand-building expertise.
Ability to lead marketing projects independently.
Willing to relocate to Bhilai/Durg, Chhattisgarh.
Willing to travel across India as required.

Salary: ₹80,000 – ₹1,20,000 per month (Based on experience)
