Full job description

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Executive (SEO) to join our digital marketing team in Shimla.

The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in SEO, content marketing, Local SEO, social media, and website optimization. You will assist in executing digital marketing campaigns for international clients and help improve their online visibility, organic traffic, search rankings, and overall digital presence.

Freshers with relevant digital marketing training, certifications, internships, or practical project experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience are also welcome.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and executing SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility and keyword rankings.
Perform keyword research based on search intent, competition, and business objectives.
Conduct competitor analysis to identify SEO, content, and digital marketing opportunities.
Optimize website pages, landing pages, and blog content for search engines and users.
Implement on-page SEO elements including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, internal links, and image optimization.
Assist with off-page SEO and ethical link-building activities.
Research relevant websites and opportunities for guest posting, outreach, business listings, and content promotion.
Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles and support Local SEO activities.
Assist with local citations, directory listings, and other local search optimization activities.
Support content marketing activities, including content research, optimization, and promotion.
Assist with social media marketing and content distribution across relevant platforms.
Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, impressions, clicks, and other SEO performance metrics.
Identify basic technical SEO issues related to crawling, indexing, redirects, broken links, and website structure.
Assist in developing and maintaining internal linking strategies.
Prepare regular and monthly SEO performance reports.
Coordinate with content writers, developers, designers, and other team members to implement digital marketing recommendations.
Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, digital marketing practices, and emerging platforms.

Required Skills & Experience

Freshers with Digital Marketing/SEO training or certifications and candidates with 1–2 years of experience are welcome to apply.
Good understanding of SEO and digital marketing fundamentals.
Basic knowledge of on-page, off-page, technical, and Local SEO.
Understanding of keyword research and competitor analysis.
Basic knowledge of content marketing and content optimization.
Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
Basic understanding of Google Business Profile and Local SEO.
Good knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets.
Basic understanding of HTML and website structure is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to learn new tools, technologies, and marketing strategies.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Digital Marketing or SEO certification.
SEO internship or practical project experience.
Experience managing a personal website, blog, or social media account.
Basic knowledge of WordPress.
Understanding of international SEO.
Familiarity with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X.
Basic knowledge of email marketing and outreach.
Understanding of Core Web Vitals and website performance.
Basic knowledge of schema markup and structured data.
Experience creating SEO or digital marketing reports.
Basic understanding of paid advertising platforms such as Google Ads or Meta Ads.
