Clinic Operations Manager – Doctor Relations & Operations

PNC Professional Noble Care Multispeciality Clinic – Jammu

Job Summary

PNC Professional Noble Care Multispeciality Clinic is looking for an experienced Clinic Operations Manager – Doctor Relations & Operations to manage the day-to-day functioning of the clinic with a strong focus on Doctor Relationship Management, Consultant Coordination, OPD Operations and Patient Experience.

The ideal candidate should have strong contacts and experience working with consultants, visiting doctors, hospitals, clinics or healthcare professionals and should be capable of developing and maintaining long-term professional relationships with doctors.

The candidate will act as the primary coordination point between PNC Management and Doctors/Consultants.

Key Responsibilities – Doctor Relations

Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with existing and visiting doctors.
Coordinate with doctors regarding OPD schedules, consultation timings, availability and appointments.
Identify and approach suitable doctors/consultants for onboarding with PNC.
Assist management in doctor recruitment, onboarding and retention.
Maintain regular communication with doctors and understand their operational requirements.
Ensure doctors have a smooth and professional experience while working at PNC.
Coordinate doctor schedules and minimize cancellations, delays and scheduling conflicts.
Manage communication regarding OPD timings, leave, holidays and changes in schedules.
Coordinate with reception and patient-care teams to ensure doctors receive proper patient information and support.
Monitor doctor-wise OPD performance, patient flow and appointment volumes.
Develop strategies to increase doctor consultations and OPD footfall.
Maintain professional relationships with doctors, consultants and healthcare professionals in Jammu.
Follow up with doctors regarding their availability and future OPD schedules.
Ensure timely communication of management decisions, policies and operational updates to doctors.
Address doctor-related operational issues and escalate important matters to management.
Maintain confidentiality regarding doctor contracts, remuneration and professional matters.

Clinic Operations Responsibilities

Supervise the overall day-to-day functioning of the clinic.
Coordinate Reception, Patient Care, Laboratory, Radiology, Pharmacy and support staff.
Ensure smooth patient flow from registration to consultation, investigation and pharmacy.
Monitor appointment management and patient waiting time.
Handle patient complaints and ensure timely resolution.
Ensure professional behaviour and discipline among front-office and support staff.
Prepare staff duty schedules and monitor attendance.
Coordinate with doctors and staff to ensure smooth OPD functioning.
Monitor daily collections, appointments, OPD numbers and operational reports.
Coordinate with management regarding clinic performance and operational improvements.
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, discipline and professional presentation of the clinic.

Doctor Relationship & Business Development

The candidate should actively contribute to the growth of PNC by:

Building a network of specialist and superspecialist doctors.
Identifying doctors from Jammu and nearby areas who can be associated with PNC.
Exploring opportunities for regular visiting OPDs and specialty clinics.
Developing long-term relationships with doctors and healthcare professionals.
Increasing patient referrals through professional doctor relationships.
Supporting management in developing new specialty services.
Coordinating health camps, specialty OPDs and doctor-led awareness programmes.
Maintaining a database of doctors and tracking their association and OPD schedules.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a people-oriented, well-connected and highly professional individual who can communicate confidently with doctors and senior healthcare professionals.

Preferred:

Graduate degree; Hospital Administration/Healthcare Management/MBA preferred.
3–7 years of experience in hospital, clinic, diagnostic centre or healthcare operations.
Prior experience in Doctor Relationship Management / Consultant Coordination / Hospital Operations will be highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of the local healthcare/doctor ecosystem will be an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and relationship-management abilities.
Good understanding of OPD operations.
Strong computer and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for clinic operations.
Professional personality and excellent presentation skills.
