Job Description – Agronomist / Sales Coach & Trainer

Location: Bhopal
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Work Schedule: 6 Days a Week (On-site)
Department: Agronomy / Training & Quality

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Agronomist / Sales Coach & Trainer to develop agronomy learning modules, deliver training programs, support marketing initiatives, conduct quality audits, and provide technical agronomy support. The ideal candidate should possess strong crop advisory knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to enhance team performance through effective coaching and training.

Key Responsibilities Training & Development:

Design and deliver induction training programs for new joiners.
Conduct sales training on:
Sales pitch quality
Script adherence
Product pricing
Deliver agronomy training based on products, crops, and seasonal requirements.
Prepare weekly and monthly assessment schedules and certification tests.
Develop training materials, including:
Crop-specific leaflets
Seasonal product pitching guides
Product knowledge documents
Technical learning content
Plan seasonal training programs aligned with crop cycles and market demand.

Performance Monitoring & Quality Audits:

Conduct quality audits of:
Sales calls
KYC calls
CRM records
Partner/vendor interactions
Verify CRM data against recorded calls and historical call logs.
Audit product pricing accuracy and process compliance.
Evaluate employee competency in:
Product knowledge
CRM usage
Pricing accuracy
Agronomy advisory
Sales communication
Monitor the daily performance of new employees and recommend training interventions.

Agronomy & Field Support:

Conduct farmer meetings, field demonstrations, and participate in agricultural expos.
Provide technical agronomy support to sales teams through Slack and internal discussions.
Assist the Marketing team in creating:
Crop advisory content
Product usage guides
Seasonal agriculture content
Investigate product performance complaints and support technical resolution and refund assessments.

Sales & Seasonal Planning:

Collaborate with sales teams to forecast seasonal demand.
Identify priority crops and products based on seasonal trends.
Support the development of seasonal sales strategies and product pitching plans.

Administration & Compliance:

Maintain warning registers for policy violations.
Verify Process Compliance (PC) documents and monitor status.
Assess new joiners during and after training to ensure operational readiness.
Maintain training records and certification reports.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of:
Crop production
Pest and disease management
Fertilizers and plant nutrition
Agrochemical products
Crop advisory practices
Experience in agronomy training, sales enablement, or farmer advisory.
Ability to conduct audits and identify performance gaps.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools and documentation.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
Fluency in Hindi and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, or a related field.
3–7 years of experience in agronomy advisory, farmer support, agriculture sales, or technical training.
Prior experience in the agri-input, agrochemical, fertilizer, seed, marketplace, or agri-tech industry is preferred.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
