About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Team Lead – International Sales Strategy & Performance to lead our International Sales team and drive sustainable business growth across global markets.

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for improving sales performance, team productivity, customer acquisition, sales processes, CRM discipline, and business analytics. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills with a data-driven approach to maximize revenue, optimize sales operations, and build a high-performing international sales team.

Key Responsibilities

International Sales Strategy

Develop and execute international sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
Identify new business opportunities and support expansion into international markets.
Build market-wise sales plans and revenue strategies.
Recommend pricing and commercial strategies based on market trends and customer insights.
Work closely with leadership on annual and quarterly business plans.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

Lead, mentor, and motivate the International Sales team to achieve business goals.
Set individual KPIs and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance.
Conduct regular one-on-one reviews, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations.
Identify performance gaps and implement improvement plans.
Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and accountable sales culture.

Sales Operations & CRM Excellence

Ensure CRM discipline, accurate sales pipeline management, and timely reporting.
Monitor lead generation, follow-ups, customer interactions, and conversion rates.
Improve sales processes and establish best practices for operational efficiency.
Drive CRM adoption and data accuracy across the sales team.

Business Analytics & Reporting

Develop and maintain sales dashboards, MIS reports, and performance scorecards.
Analyze sales performance, conversion ratios, revenue trends, and forecasting.
Present actionable business insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Identify risks, opportunities, and improvement areas through data analysis.

AI & Sales Productivity

Leverage AI-powered sales tools to improve lead management, forecasting, and customer engagement.
Introduce automation to streamline reporting, tracking, and sales operations.
Stay updated on emerging sales technologies and recommend process improvements.

Customer & Business Development

Build and maintain strong relationships with international customers and distributors.
Support key account management and customer retention initiatives.
Participate in negotiations, customer meetings, and business development activities.
Collaborate with Marketing to support campaigns and lead generation initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Coordinate with Finance, Supply Chain, Production, Quality, and Export Documentation teams.
Ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
Support product launches and strategic business initiatives.

Required Qualifications

MBA in Marketing, International Business, Sales, or a related field.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, or equivalent.
Additional certifications in Sales Management, CRM, Business Analytics, or Leadership are an advantage.
