Senior Project Coordinator

Job Type: Full-time
Location: calicut, cyberpark

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Project Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple projects across the organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and the capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee project activities from initiation through completion.
Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and documentation.
Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and assist in developing mitigation plans.
Facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes and action items.
Track project budgets, resource allocation, and deliverables.
Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and external partners to ensure project objectives are met.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and project management standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements.
Mentor and guide junior coordinators and project support staff when needed.
Prepare reports, presentations, and project performance metrics for leadership review.

QualificationsRequired

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of project coordination, project management, or related experience.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Monday.com, Jira, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Preferred

Project Management Professional (PMP), CAPM, PRINCE2, or similar certification.
Experience working in [industry-specific field].
Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
