Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Head of Accounting to lead our accounting function and support the company’s financial growth. The ideal candidate will be a qualified finance professional with strong technical accounting expertise, leadership experience, and the ability to drive accurate financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements.
This role is suitable for a high-potential finance leader who can grow into a broader Finance Controller / Head of Finance / CFO role in the future.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the full accounting function, including general accounting, financial reporting, closing activities, and compliance.
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and financial analysis.
Ensure compliance with IFRS/US GAAP, tax regulations, and internal accounting policies.
Manage external audits, tax advisors, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Develop and strengthen internal controls, accounting processes, and financial governance.
Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members.
Work closely with senior management to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
Drive improvements in ERP systems, reporting processes, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.
8–12 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably with international exposure.
Proven experience managing accounting operations and financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP and international tax compliance frameworks.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Experience managing teams and working with senior stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience in a multinational company or international reporting environment is preferred.
