Assistant Manager – Finance

Location: Guwahati, Assam

Job Summary

Hayat Hospital Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Finance to strengthen its finance and accounts team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in financial management, hospital accounting operations, statutory compliance, budgeting, taxation, MIS reporting, and team coordination.

The candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations, maintaining compliance standards, monitoring cash flow, and supporting management with accurate financial insights for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the hospital
Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow statements, and financial forecasts
Ensure timely preparation of MIS reports and financial statements
Handle GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances
Coordinate with auditors, banks, consultants, and regulatory authorities
Monitor accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and vendor payments
Supervise billing, revenue tracking, and financial documentation processes
Ensure accuracy in ledger entries, balance sheets, and accounting records
Support management in financial planning, cost control, and profitability analysis
Maintain compliance with hospital finance policies and internal controls
Lead and coordinate with the accounts and finance team for smooth workflow
Ensure timely completion of monthly and annual financial closing activities

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
CA / CMA / MBA Finance preferred
Minimum 7–8 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts
Prior experience in hospital or healthcare industry preferred
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance procedures
Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools

Skills Required

Strong financial analysis and accounting knowledge
Expertise in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
Good leadership and team management skills
Strong communication and coordination abilities
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple financial activities
High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in hospital finance operations and healthcare billing systems
Ability to handle audits and compliance independently
Strong understanding of budgeting and cost optimization
Professional, organized, and process-driven approach
