Currently Kelvin Ecopack is looking for a Senior Merchandiser for Kolkata location.

He / She, will play a critical role in managing the end-to-end process of product development, production and will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, establishing partnerships, and expanding customer base in the jute bags market both Domestic & International.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic business development plan to drive growth in the jute bags industry.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospective clients, distributors, and strategic partners.
Collaborate with the design and development team to create new jute bag designs and concepts.
Liaise with production teams to plan and schedule manufacturing processes, considering lead times, capacity, and production capabilities.
Establish quality standards and specifications for jute bags, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement or expansion.
Independent handling of export orders from sample till dispatch.
Preparing cost sheets against buyer enquiries
Need to travel for business development and as per job requirements.

Skill Requirements:

Graduate or Post Graduate in any discipline.
At least 5+ years of proven experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar / relevant role is a must with team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of the market, including customer needs, industry trends, and competitor landscape.
Proficiency in project management, from product development to delivery.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients.
Strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
Attention to details and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in attending Trade Fair, both Domestic & International will be preferred.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
