Role Description

As a Backend Engineering Intern, you’ll work directly with our AI and engineering teams to develop and enhance our intelligent load dispatch system. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in applying artificial intelligence to solve real-world logistics challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Python-based microservices that power our AI agent infrastructure
Implement APIs that facilitate communication between our AI agents and frontend applications
Assist in designing and optimizing algorithms for load matching and routing optimization
Work with machine learning engineers to integrate AI models into production systems
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Required Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Strong programming skills in Python
Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Basic knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL)
Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Deep understanding of Websockets
Understanding of distributed systems
Familiarity with message queuing systems
