Role Overview

Greenfur Handcrafts LLP is a Kolkata-based manufacturer and exporter of sustainable fabric bags - jute, organic cotton, canvas and recycled non-woven. We are vertically integrated: raw material sourced direct, produced in our own factory, delivered to the buyer's warehouse. Our buyers are grocery retail, q-commerce, hospitality, food delivery, laundry services, corporate gifting and premium retail across the UK, EU, GCC, US and Australia.

We are looking for an Export Sales Executive to open and close overseas B2B accounts. The role is a mix of outbound prospecting, consultative selling and account management, working directly with the founder and the Export Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline and Prospecting

- Build and manage lead lists in target sectors (grocery and q-commerce, hospitality, laundry and delivery, cosmetics, tea and coffee, corporate gifting) using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email outreach and the CRM.

- Research prospects - company size, current packaging, sourcing model - and identify the real decision maker (procurement, operations, marketing, founder).

- Run structured outreach campaigns by email, LinkedIn and call, and book qualified discovery meetings.

Sales and Account Management

- Run discovery calls to establish specification, volumes, target price and timelines.

- Position Greenfur on what actually wins the account: landed cost, deep customisation, flexible MOQs and delivery reliability. Send tailored decks, samples and quotations.

- Coordinate with the costing and production teams on pricing, sampling, customisation and lead times.

- Negotiate terms and close, protecting margin.

- Own the account after the first order - repeat business and cross-sell across bag categories.

Export Execution

- Coordinate samples and shipments with the factory and freight forwarders; track orders from production through to delivery.

- Work comfortably across UK, EU, GCC and US time zones.

Process and Reporting

- Keep an accurate pipeline and activity log in Google Sheets / CRM.

- Track leads contacted, meetings booked, quotations sent, conversion rate, and revenue by sector and geography.

- Feed buyer input on product, pricing and service back to the team.

Requirements

Must-Have

- 2-4 years of B2B or export sales experience (packaging, textiles, printing, gifting, hospitality supply or similar preferred).

- Strong written and spoken English; confident selling to international buyers over Zoom / Google Meet.

- Hands-on experience with cold email outreach.

- Comfortable with numbers - MOQ, costing, margin, freight terms - and basic export concepts (Incoterms, proforma invoice, letter of credit).

- High ownership. Willing to build process, not just follow a script.

Nice-to-Have

- Experience selling into grocery retail, q-commerce, hospitality, e-commerce or promotional products.

- Familiarity with Google Workspace.

- Understanding of sustainable materials (jute, cotton, canvas, non-woven, rPET).
