Brand Manager – Right Gold

About Right Gold

Right Gold is a modern jewellery retail brand focused on building trust through transparent pricing, quality jewellery, competitive making charges and a strong customer experience.

We are looking for a Brand Manager who can take ownership of the Right Gold brand across digital and offline touchpoints and translate business objectives into impactful consumer communication.

This is not a social media posting or execution role. We are looking for someone with strong brand strategy, creative thinking, campaign planning and content strategy capabilities who can lead and guide the creative and social media ecosystem.

Role Overview

As Brand Manager, you will be responsible for defining what Right Gold communicates, how it communicates and why it matters to the consumer.

You will work closely with the Founder, Social Media, Content, Video, Design, Influencer and Marketing teams to develop campaigns and content that strengthen the brand while contributing to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Positioning

Own and strengthen Right Gold's brand positioning, tone of voice and communication direction.
Ensure consistent brand identity across social media, website, stores, WhatsApp, campaigns and marketing materials.
Translate business objectives into clear consumer-facing communication.
Strengthen key brand propositions including trust, transparency, competitive making charges, quality and modern jewellery retail.
Develop and maintain brand guidelines and communication standards.

Creative & Content Strategy

Develop monthly and weekly content strategies and content pillars.
Create concepts for Reels, campaigns, founder-led content, customer stories, product storytelling and educational jewellery content.
Develop strong hooks, storytelling structures, scripts, CTAs and creative directions.
Identify trends and adapt them meaningfully for the Right Gold brand.
Ensure every major content idea has a clear Objective → Audience → Idea → Hook → Message → Execution → CTA.

Campaign Planning

Lead creative direction for store launches, festivals, wedding season, jewellery collections, offers, making-charge campaigns, influencer campaigns and brand-building initiatives.
Build multiple content opportunities around every major business activity.
Develop campaign concepts that can work across digital and offline channels.

Creative Briefs & Production

Prepare clear briefs for Social Media, Video, Photography and Design teams.
Develop shoot briefs, shot lists, reel structures, scripts, VO direction and visual references.
Guide thumbnails, opening frames, editing style, music/mood and graphic requirements.
Review important creative assets before publication.

Social Media Team Management

Guide and mentor the Social Media team and move the team beyond a basic Shoot → Edit → Post approach.
Establish a strategic workflow of Objective → Idea → Story → Execution → Distribution → Performance Analysis → Improvement.
Review content pipelines, creative quality and upcoming content.
Identify content gaps and opportunities for improvement.

Influencer & Creator Strategy

Identify relevant creators for the brand.
Develop influencer selection criteria, briefs, concepts and content expectations.
Ensure creator communication remains aligned with Right Gold's positioning.
Evaluate influencer campaign performance and ROI.

Consumer & Market Insights

Understand customer motivations, purchase behaviour and jewellery purchase occasions.
Identify consumer concerns around pricing, making charges, trust and quality.
Monitor competitors, jewellery brands, retail trends, campaigns, offers, launches and emerging content formats.
Use these insights to develop differentiated communication.

Performance & Learning

Work with the digital/performance team to evaluate content and campaign performance.
Track reach, watch time, retention, shares, saves, comments, profile visits, enquiries, WhatsApp leads and store visits.
Identify winning hooks, formats, stories and communication styles and continuously improve the content strategy.

Brand Quality Control

Act as the brand custodian and final quality checkpoint for important communication.
Review campaigns, reels, scripts, founder content, influencer content, offers, store launches and promotional communication.
Ensure all communication is accurate, premium, relevant and on-brand.

What We Are Looking For

4–8 years of experience in Brand Management, Creative Strategy, Content Strategy, Digital Marketing or a similar role.
Experience in jewellery, retail, fashion, luxury, lifestyle or consumer brands is preferred.
Strong understanding of brand strategy and consumer behaviour.
Excellent creative and strategic thinking.
Strong understanding of Instagram, Reels, YouTube Shorts and digital content.
Ability to develop campaigns starting from a business objective.
Strong storytelling, copy and script direction skills.
Experience working with and guiding creative/social media teams.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to balance creativity with measurable business outcomes.
High attention to detail and strong understanding of brand aesthetics.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Important

This role is not primarily for candidates whose core strength is social media posting, scheduling or basic content execution.

The ideal candidate should think like a Brand Strategist and Creative Leader, understand the business behind the communication, develop strong ideas and be capable of guiding the execution team to deliver high-quality work.

Core Responsibility

Build the Right Gold brand, define what the brand should communicate, guide the creative team on how it should be communicated, and ensure that the communication contributes to business growth.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
