Job Description

The Office Manager supports the day-to-day operations of the India site, ensuring a positive and productive workplace experience for employees and visitors. This role is responsible for office administration, facilities coordination, vendor management, employee events, and general operational support that enables the smooth functioning of the office.

Key Requirements & Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring the workplace is organized, safe, and functioning effectively.
Coordinate office facilities, maintenance, equipment, supplies, and workspace needs.
Serve as the primary point of contact for office vendors, building management, and service providers.
Support employee onboarding and offboarding logistics, including workspace and equipment coordination.
Coordinate travel, meeting logistics, and office-related administrative support as required.
Plan and execute employee engagement activities, celebrations, and site events.
Maintain office records, documentation, and administrative processes.
Support workplace health and safety requirements and ensure compliance with office policies and procedures.
Provide general administrative support to site leadership and employees.
Be familiar with corporate security policies and follow the guidance set out by processes and procedures of Assent.

Qualifications

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

We strongly value your talent, energy and passion. It will also be valuable to Assent if you have the following qualifications -

3–5 years of experience in office administration, workplace operations, facilities coordination, executive support, or related roles.
Strong organizational and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through independently.
Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and supporting senior leaders or site-level operations.
Effective communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and drive follow-ups.
Experience with operational processes, reporting, and documentation.
Familiarity with vendor coordination and process improvement or digital tools is an asset.
