Role Overview
Minerra Health is seeking a hands-on Director of Product & Engineering – India to lead our India-based product and engineering team and help build and scale our AI-enabled healthcare platform.
This role combines engineering leadership, technical product ownership, architecture, and team management. You will work closely with Minerra’s U.S. Product, Engineering, Clinical, and business leadership to translate product strategy into scalable, secure, production-ready capabilities.
This is a high-ownership role for a leader who can move comfortably between product requirements, architecture, engineering execution, AI/ML capabilities, and people leadership.
What You’ll Own
- Lead and develop Minerra’s India Product & Engineering team, including engineering, data/AI, and technical product resources.
- Own execution of the product and engineering roadmap in partnership with U.S. leadership.
- Drive products from requirements and architecture through development, release, and production support.
- Establish strong engineering practices across architecture, code quality, testing, DevOps, security, documentation, and observability.
- Lead development of platform capabilities including:
- AI agents and intelligent workflows
- Decisioning and recommendation systems
- Data and analytics platforms
- APIs and enterprise integrations
- Workflow automation and orchestration
- Translate complex healthcare and business workflows into clear product requirements and technical designs.
- Balance speed, scalability, reliability, cost, security, and maintainability when making technical decisions.
- Establish delivery cadence, sprint planning, release management, and clear ownership across the India team.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering and product talent as the team scales.
- Provide clear visibility to leadership on delivery progress, technical risks, dependencies, and resource requirements.
AI & Data Leadership
Partner with Minerra’s AI/ML and data teams to:
- Develop LLM-, ML-, and rules-based decisioning capabilities.
- Build AI agents, copilots, recommendations, and workflow automation.
- Establish evaluation and monitoring frameworks for AI quality, accuracy, reliability, and cost.
- Ensure AI capabilities integrate safely and effectively into healthcare workflows.
- Drive reusable AI and data capabilities rather than one-off solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of engineering, technical product, or platform experience, with experience leading engineering teams.
- Strong track record of delivering complex SaaS, healthcare, AI, or enterprise platforms into production.
- Experience managing engineers and working across product, engineering, data, QA, and DevOps.
- Strong understanding of:
- Modern cloud architecture
- APIs and distributed systems
- Data pipelines and databases
- AI/ML and generative AI systems
- Enterprise integrations
- Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into structured product and engineering execution.
- Strong technical judgment and ability to participate directly in architecture and design discussions.
- Experience working with distributed U.S.–India teams.
- Strong communication, ownership, and execution discipline.
Preferred Experience
- Healthcare or other regulated technology environments.
- U.S. healthcare workflows, interoperability, clinical data, or enterprise healthcare integrations.
- AI agents, LLM applications, orchestration, RAG, and evaluation frameworks.
- AWS and cloud-native architectures.
- Multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
- Security, privacy, and healthcare compliance requirements.
- Startup or high-growth product environments.
Working Model
- India-based leadership role.
- Direct collaboration with Minerra’s U.S. Product and Engineering leadership.
- Regular overlap with U.S. Eastern Time for planning, architecture, product reviews, and leadership meetings.
- Expected to operate with significant autonomy and ownership.

Pay: ₹5,500,000.00 - ₹9,900,000.00 per year
