Job Purpose

Job Purpose: To drive and own marketplace marketing effectiveness by improving brand visibility, optimizing catalogue performance, and delivering insight led interventions. The role is responsible for executing data driven marketplace initiatives that support retail growth, customer engagement, and cost efficient marketing performance across digital platforms.

Roles & Responsiblities

1. Manage healthy sales mix across product types

Balance the contribution of fresh, omni, exclusive, and liquidation styles as per channel strategy.
Align assortments and promotions to maintain the required mix across all marketplaces.

2. Improve advertising efficiency across marketplaces

Manage advertising execution to maintain efficient campaign performance.
Optimise targeting, bidding, and content inputs to support visibility without overspend.

3. Improve catalogue visibility across key price bands

Strengthen catalogue placement within platform specific price bands aligned to customer demand.
Optimise product tagging, attributes, and image quality to improve discovery and uplift DRR.

4. Enhance brand visibility and ranking on key marketplaces

Improve visibility for Amazon and Flipkart by strengthening exclusive styles, refining catalogue quality, and improving content placement.
Manage organic and paid visibility levers to improve ranking, search presence, and platform discovery.

5. Build market intelligence to guide business decisions

Publish a monthly market intelligence report covering category trends, pricing shifts, competition activity, and platform movements.
Share insights with cross functional teams to support planning, marketing, and merch strategy.

6. Maintain a disciplined operating cost structure

Manage all marketplace related operating costs (excluding product cost) within planned thresholds.
Optimise marketing, logistics, returns, and platform related expenses to maintain a healthy cost structure.

Qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate

Experience: 2-6 Years of experince in simialr role
