About the Role
The Showroom Manager serves as the operational nerve center of our flagship retail space. This is a pure leadership, administrative, and supervisory role rather than a front-line sales position. The manager is the primary custodian of all showroom functions, floor staff, and back-end logistics, ensuring a seamless luxury guest experience, strict inventory control, and optimal business efficiency. The ideal candidate is highly structured, composed under pressure, and capable of driving a disciplined yet welcoming store environment.
Working hours are 10:45 AM to 8:45 PM, Monday to Saturday. The pay range for this role is between ₹25,000 and ₹35,000 rupees per month + Performance Based Bonuses, dependant on experience. A successful candidate needs to be extremely well groomed, confident, punctual, responsible and know how to handle a team and execute quick decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Operations & Logistics Management
- Opening and Closing Management: Oversee strict morning opening and evening closing protocols, ensuring absolute compliance with operational and security checklists.
- Supply Chain & Vendor Logistics: Coordinate end-to-end workflows with production teams, artisans (karigars), and suppliers regarding repairs, custom orders, and timely inventory dispatches.
- Floor Flow Optimization: Direct daily front-of-house hospitality operations, ensuring customer service areas, refreshments, and client touchpoints operate flawlessly.
2. Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Personnel Supervision: Command and oversee all showroom tiers—including sales consultants, front-desk receptionists, and floor helpers—maintaining clear professional boundaries and elite decorum.
- Staff Scheduling & Coverage: Construct and manage employee duty rosters, attendance logs, and leave requests to guarantee optimal floor coverage at all times, especially during peak festive seasons.
- Training & Development: Lead structured morning huddles and routine training sessions focusing on product knowledge, high-end customer etiquette, and store SOPs.
- Performance Analytics: Track sales performance by category, analyze footfall-to-conversion metrics, and identify top-performing staff or areas requiring operational adjustment.
- Staff Mentoring: Conduct monthly 1:1 meetings with staff to understand their needs and any other operational challenges.
3. Client Experience & Store Standards
- VIP Relationship Management: Personally welcome high-value, multi-generational, and repeat NRI clients, cultivating long-term brand loyalty.
- Grievance Resolution: Hand-select and resolve escalated customer feedback or complaints with a diplomatic, solution-oriented approach.
- Visual Merchandising & Ambiance: Maintain pristine showroom standards, ensuring display counters are fully stocked, layouts are brand-appropriate, and environmental factors (lighting, cleanliness, fragrance) reflect a premium luxury benchmark.
4. Inventory Control & Security Compliance
- Daily Stock Auditing: Supervise meticulous daily inventory tracking, checking high-value assets in and out of security vaults and monitoring real-time counter stock.
- Stock Health Management: Partner with manufacturing teams to minimize gaps in high-demand categories while monitoring aging stock and reporting slow-moving pieces to ownership.
- Security Enforcement: Maintain total vigilance over security protocols, CCTV monitoring, floor safety regulations, and strict handling permissions for luxury stock.
5. Financial Administration & Executive Reporting
- Data & Software Synchronicity: Ensure all daily retail billing, invoices, and accounting records are updated accurately in database systems (such as Tally).
- Ownership Reporting: Compile and submit comprehensive daily sales, operational highlights, and localized expense summaries directly to business ownership.
Required Qualities & Skills
- Technical Expertise: In understanding and using computers. Expertise with coding, AI, Accountancy Softwares, and Microsoft Suite is highly preferred.
- Commercial & Financial Acumen: Strong mathematical, analytical, and reporting skills; familiarity with Tally or premium retail POS platforms is highly valued.
- Poise Under Pressure: Exceptional emotional intelligence (EQ) and calm decision-making during high-traffic intervals or complex customer situations.
- Market Awareness: Strong general knowledge of global current affairs, economic trends, and precious metal market dynamics.
- Professional Grooming: Flawless personal styling and executive presentation aligned with a century-old heritage institution.
- Punctuality & Discipline: Outstanding commitment to time management, setting a definitive baseline of accountability for the entire showroom team.

- Trilingual Fluency: Complete fluency in spoken and written English, Hindi, and Punjabi to interface seamlessly with global clientele, local teams, and production units.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: ₹25,000 and ₹35,000 rupees per month + Performance Based Bonuses
Salary Type: Fixed Monthly + Performance Incentive once a year
