Job Description
We are looking for experienced and skilled VMC Operators / CNC Milling Machine Operators for our growing aerospace manufacturing unit. This is a critical role for precision machining of aerospace components. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both operating and setting VMC or CNC Milling machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and set up VMC (Vertical Machining Center) or CNC Milling Machines
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job instructions
- Select and load appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials
- Conduct machine setup and calibration as per specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure precision and quality
- Perform in-process inspection using measuring tools (Vernier calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Handle minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Record production logs and inspection reports
- Collaborate with quality control and production teams to meet daily targets
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating and setting VMC or CNC Milling Machines
- Must have experience in precision component machining
- Knowledge of tooling, speeds, feeds, and cutting parameters
- Ability to read engineering drawings and G&M codes
- Familiar with basic quality inspection tools and procedures
- Good understanding of machine maintenance and safety standards
- Prior experience in aerospace component machining is a plus
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Fitter / Machinist or relevant trade
- Candidates with experience in aerospace or precision engineering will be preferred
- Immediate Joiners highly preferred (notice period must not exceed 15 days)
