Job Description – Power BI Developer / Data Analyst (Microsoft Fabric & ADF)

Position Title: Power BI Developer / Data Analyst
Experience: 5+ Years
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer / Data Analyst with strong experience in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Data Factory (ADF). The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in data analysis, dashboard development, ETL/data integration, and building scalable reporting solutions for business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Work with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements.
Build and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Develop and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations.
Work extensively on Microsoft Fabric for data engineering, analytics, and reporting solutions.
Integrate data from multiple sources including SQL databases, APIs, Excel, and cloud platforms.
Ensure data accuracy, quality, and performance optimization of reports and datasets.
Create reusable datasets and semantic models for enterprise reporting.
Perform data analysis to identify trends, insights, and business opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, engineering, and management teams.
Maintain documentation for dashboards, ETL processes, and reporting workflows.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Power BI development.
Mandatory experience in Microsoft Fabric.
Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Experience with:
DAX
Power Query
Data Modeling
ETL Processes
SQL Queries & Stored Procedures
Good understanding of data warehousing concepts.
Experience working with large datasets and performance tuning.
Knowledge of Azure cloud data services.
Experience with:
Azure Synapse
Data Lake
Databricks
Python scripting for analytics
KPI reporting and business intelligence best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
Microsoft certifications in Power BI / Azure / Fabric are preferred.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
