Full job description

Job Title: US GAAP Accountant (2–4) Years Experience)
Shift : 5 PM - 3 AM (IST)
Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior US GAAP Accountant with 3–4 years of hands-on experience to support day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and tax-related activities. The role involves working in a US accounting environment using QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Key Responsibilities

Record and maintain financial transactions in QuickBooks
Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
Assist in month-end close activities
Support tax-related work (basic US taxation, sales tax, documentation)
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Assist in preparing reports for internal review
Coordinate with the Senior Accountant for reviews and corrections

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance)
2–4 years of experience in US accounting / US GAAP environment
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (mandatory)
Basic understanding of **Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Strong knowledge of:
- Journal entries
- Reconciliations
- AP/AR processes
Exposure to taxation (basic level)
Good working knowledge of MS Excel

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with US-based clients or accounting processes
Exposure to sales tax / payroll accounting / compliance support
Familiarity with any ERP/accounting tools (in addition to QuickBooks)

Role Expectations

Ability to execute tasks accurately under guidance
Strong attention to detail and accountability
Willingness to learn and grow in US accounting domain
Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
Flexibility to work in US shift
