About the Role
Elvtech delivers end-to-end AV, broadcast, IT infrastructure, and ELV integration projects across luxury residential, institutional, hospitality, stadium, airport, and corporate environments. The Project Manager owns the delivery of these projects from handover-from-sales through to commissioning and client sign-off.
This is a hands-on ownership role. The right person keeps multiple sites moving in parallel, stays close to the technical detail, coordinates cleanly with internal and external stakeholders, and keeps clients confidently informed at every stage. We value calm, clear, proactive communication over reactive firefighting.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Scheduling
- Build and maintain detailed project plans and Gantt charts for each assigned project, breaking scope into phases, milestones, and dependencies.
- Update schedules promptly as site conditions, drawings, or client requirements change, and keep all stakeholders aligned to the current plan.
- Define resource, material, and manpower requirements against each project timeline.
Multi-Project Management
- Run several concurrent projects across different sectors and locations without letting any one slip.
- Prioritise effectively across projects, balancing deadlines, resource availability, and client expectations.
- Maintain a clear status view of every active project at any given time.
Technical Oversight
- Understand the detailed technical scope of each project — AV systems, IT hardware and networking, structured cabling, and broader ELV subsystems.
- Review BOQs, system designs, single-line diagrams, and drawings; identify gaps or conflicts early and resolve them with the design/pre-sales team.
- Guide and validate the work of the on-ground execution team against design intent and quality standards.
Material & Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate with internal accounts and logistics teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to site.
- Track lead times for imported and specialised equipment and flag risks to the schedule well in advance.
- Ensure site readiness aligns with material availability to avoid idle manpower or stalled work.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Keep the client updated as the project progresses, in a clear and reassuring manner.
- Anticipate challenges and dependencies and clear them proactively by managing stakeholders smartly — architects, consultants, MEP/civil contractors, vendors, and the client's own team.
- Hold the line on scope and timelines while maintaining a strong, trusting client relationship.
On-Ground Execution
- Manage day-to-day site execution with the installation and commissioning team.
- Ensure work is carried out safely, to specification, and to Elvtech's quality benchmark.
- Conduct site visits and reviews; track progress against plan and course-correct as needed.
Escalation Handling
- Be the first point of contact for issues on assigned projects, and resolve them decisively.
- Escalate to management with context and a recommended path forward when a matter is beyond the project's authority to resolve.
- Document and close out snags, defects, and handover items methodically.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of project management experience in AV projects and IT hardware / networking.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detailed technical understanding of AV and ELV systems and IT infrastructure.
- Hands-on familiarity with project scheduling and Gantt-chart tools (e.g. MS Project, Zoho Projects, or similar).
- Comfortable reading technical drawings, BOQs, and system designs.
- A diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or a related discipline is preferred.
Skills & AttributesCommunication & Client Handling
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Soft-spoken and composed, with a proven ability to handle clients and difficult conversations gracefully.
- Strong stakeholder-management instinct — knows when to push, when to listen, and when to escalate.
Execution & Ownership
- Organised, proactive, and able to see problems before they become escalations.
- Comfortable working across office, site, and remote coordination.
- Takes full ownership of delivery, quality, and client satisfaction on assigned projects.
Technical Depth
- Genuinely understands the systems being installed, not just the timeline around them.
- Able to engage credibly with both technicians on site and consultants in design meetings.
Added Advantage (Preferred, Not Mandatory)
- Working knowledge of AV programming (e.g. Crestron, Q-SYS, BSS, Xilica, or similar control/DSP platforms).
- Exposure to large-format or specialised verticals — stadiums, airports, broadcast, or luxury residential.
- Vendor certifications relevant to AV or networking.
