Job Description
Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager Procurement looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our Procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract administration and compliance with a proven ability to manage contract lifecycles support audits and collaborate with legal and procurement teams to ensure adherence to corporate policies and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end contract administration processes including drafting reviewing tracking and maintaining procurement contracts and agreements in alignment with the Manager/Director of vendor relations. - Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies legal requirements and regulatory standards. - Act as a liaison between procurement legal and business units to facilitate contract negotiations and approvals. - Support internal and external audits by providing timely and accurate documentation related to procurement contracts and compliance. - Demonstrated experience in successfully transitioning procurement or contract administration processes from onshore to offshore including knowledge transfer (KT) documentation and stabilization phases. - Coordinate and respond to Requests for Information (RF Is) from internal stakeholders and external auditors. - Maintain a centralized repository of contracts and ensure timely renewals amendments and terminations. - Monitor contract performance and compliance identifying and escalating risks or deviations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and enhance contract governance. - Support training initiatives for new hires and junior staff in collaboration with the Manager/Director of Vendor relations. - Coordinate departmental coverage to ensure seamless operations. - Communicate with employees to ensure data integrity and adherence to corporate and departmental travel policies. - Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental goals. - Maintain 100% accuracy & turnaround time in necessary activities. - Support and contribute to data collation & report building for operational metrics defined in the process. - Required hands-on experience in using excel to create reports Pivot table formatting and cleansing the data. - Support and contribute to data collation & report building for operational metrics defined in the process. - Periodically review Standard Operating Procedures (SO Ps) to capture the changes and get them signed off with relevant approvers. - Participate in quality audits to perform required transaction deep dive analysis and support building appropriate root cause analysis (RCA) for the issues / errors/ observations highlighted by the audit teams. - Identify process improvement opportunities and work with PROCESS SM Es and transformation teams in developing solutions. - Work with managers to publish daily health metrics to internal management and raise caution on any challenges. - Support team priorities and initiatives.
