Key Responsibilities
· Design and develop scalable web applications using Next.js (App Router) and react.
· Build and maintain headless CMS integrations — WordPress REST API, Sanity, Strapi, or Payload CMS.
· Implement REST API and GraphQL driven data architecture with CMS-driven content systems.
· Optimize website performance for Core Web Vitals — LCP, FID, and CLS.
· Integrate and manage third-party APIs and services.
· Implement CDN-based caching strategies (Cloudflare preferred) for low-latency global delivery.
· Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend teams to deliver polished, accessible interfaces.
· Own frontend security architecture — OWASP basics, CSP headers, input validation.
· Manage deployment pipelines, CI/CD automation, and production performance tuning.
Required Skills & Expertise:
Frontend
· Expert-level proficiency in React.js — hooks, context, and performance patterns
· Deep expertise in Next.js App Router — layouts, streaming, and server components
· Thorough understanding of rendering strategies:
· SSR (Server-Side Rendering) — dynamic, personalised pages
· SSG (Static Site Generation) — fast, cacheable content pages
· ISR (Incremental Static Regeneration) — scalable content freshness
CMS & Backend Integration
· Proven headless CMS experience — WordPress REST API (preferred), Sanity, Strapi, or Payload CMS
· Strong knowledge of REST APIs and GraphQL for CMS-driven architectures
· Experience with SEO metadata handling via Yoast or custom SEO systems
Performance & SEO
· Deep knowledge of Core Web Vitals — measurement, diagnosis, and optimization
· Page speed optimization: lazy loading, image optimization (next/image), and code splitting
· CDN configuration and tuning — Cloudflare preferred
· SEO-first architecture: sitemap generation, structured data, canonical URLs, metadata management
Backend & DevOps
· Node.js for lightweight APIs and Next.js API Routes
· Production deployment experience on Vercel, AWS, or DigitalOcean
· CI/CD pipeline setup and management — GitHub Actions preferred
Database
· Working knowledge of MySQL / PostgreSQL
· Ability to work with CMS-managed database schemas and query patterns
Nice to Have:
· Headless WordPress architecture (decoupled WP + Next.js frontend)
· Proven experience with large-scale SEO platforms (1,000+ indexed pages)
· GraphQL schema design and query optimization
· Advanced Cloudflare strategies — edge caching and cache purge automation
· OWASP security fundamentals — XSS, CSRF, CSP, rate limiting
· Experience delivering projects in the cybersecurity domain
Architecture Experience Required:
Candidates should have hands-on experience designing or maintaining:
· Headless CMS architecture — clean separation of content and presentation layers
· API-driven frontend systems — decoupled data fetching, caching, and revalidation
· CDN-based performance optimization — edge caching and asset optimization
· Static + dynamic hybrid rendering — mixing SSG/ISR with SSR per page type
· SEO-first web architecture — scalable metadata, structured data, crawlability
