Job Description
Inviting applications for the role of lead Consultant - Network Administrator (On premises DC and Azure environments) In this role the Network administrator is responsible for maintaining network and network devices such as Palo Alto firewalls Cisco routers and network devices Azure Express Route and Velo Cloud edge devices. Typical responsibilities: of the job include installing and configuring network devices and systems. identifying and solving any problems that arise with computer networks and systems. Also should be well-versed with network migration to Azure environment and SDNET. Responsibilities: - Candidate should have years of hands-on experience of Network administration managing LAN/WAN setups. - Network Installation and Configuration: The network administrator must install configure and maintain the hardware and software that makes up the network. - This includes switches routers firewalls and other network devices. - Network Performance: The network administrator monitors the network to ensure that it is operating efficiently and that there are no bottlenecks or other issues that could cause network downtime or slow performance. - Troubleshooting: The network administrator must be able to identify and resolve issues that arise on the network such as connectivity problems or hardware failures. - Backup and Recovery: The network administrator is responsible for backing up critical data and ensuring that it can be restored in the event of a disaster. - Network Upgrades: The network administrator must keep up to date with the latest hardware and software technology and recommend upgrades to improve the network's performance and security. - Support configure maintain and upgrade corporate customers networks and in house servers - Support for new server hardware and applications upgrade and maintenance. - Monitor network performance (availability utilization throughput goodput and latency) and test for weaknesses. - Azure Networking: Design implement and manage Azure Virtual Networks (V Net) Express Route VP Ns NS Gs and Load Balancers. - Terraform Automation: Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) using Terraform for network provisioning and automation. - Datacenter Network Management: Oversee LAN/WAN architecture routing switching and connectivity within on-premises datacenters. - Firewall Administration: Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls including security policies threat prevention and VPN configurations. - Cloud Security: Deploy and manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) for secure cloud connectivity. - Network Security & Compliance: Ensure network security best practices compliance with industry standards and incident response. - Troubleshooting & Optimization: Monitor network performance troubleshoot issues and optimize configurations for high availability and scalability.
