Account Manager / Brand Strategist Experience: 14–16 Years CTC: ₹30–36 LPA Work Mode: Work From Office Location: Kanjurmarg (Central Mumbai) & Marine Drive (South Mumbai) Notice Period: Immediate to 1 Month Interview Process 1. HR Screening (Virtual) 2. Technical Evaluation Either Virtual or F2F 3. Assignment 4. Final Founder Round Either Virtual or F2F Role Summary Senior-level brand leadership role responsible for managing and shaping two luxury brands simultaneously – The Quarry & Design First. This role owns: • Brand strategy • Communication standards • Creative direction • Team + agency management • Final quality of all brand output • Education: Master’s in Anthropology Ensures both brands maintain completely distinct voices, positioning, and storytelling styles without overlap. Key Responsibilities 1. Brand Strategy (Dual Brand Ownership) • Own end-to-end brand positioning for The Quarry & Design First • Maintain two separate brand voice guidelines: o The Quarry → premium, restrained, material authority o Design First → warm, design-led storytelling • Define quarterly content themes, campaigns, and platform strategy for both brands • Translate core brand philosophy into clear communication guidelines for execution • Identify gaps in brand communication and improve consistency and quality 2. Creative & Agency Management • Manage all external agencies and creative partners for both brands • Write and approve creative briefs for campaigns and content • Review and approve all external creative before publishing • Ensure all deliverables meet brand tone, quality, and luxury standards 3. Team Leadership & Content Control • Lead and guide in-house team: o Content Writer o Graphic Designer o Performance & Digital Marketing team • Review all content before publishing across both brands • Run weekly content/quality review meetings • Set and enforce brand quality benchmarks for both brands • Participate in hiring and interviews for creative roles 4. Campaign & Workflow Management • Own end-to-end campaign timelines (brief → execution → delivery → approval) • Build structured internal approval and review process • Ensure smooth coordination between teams without delays or bottlenecks • Track all content and campaign output across both brands 5. Founder & Leadership Interface • Act as key strategic partner to Founder & Marketing Manager • Present monthly performance + strategy review decks for both brands • Provide honest feedback on what is working and what needs improvement • Convert Founder inputs into structured briefs for execution Required Experience • 14–16 years in: o Brand Management / Brand Strategy / Senior Account Leadership • Must have handled multiple brands or multiple brand identities simultaneously • Experience building or improving brand communication systems (not just campaign execution) • Exposure to luxury sectors preferred: o Luxury interiors o Architecture o Premium lifestyle / design / luxury goods • Experience working in a founder-led or high-standard creative environment • Proven experience leading both internal teams and external agencies Tools & Systems Must be comfortable with: • PowerPoint / Google Slides (mandatory for leadership decks) • Notion / Asana (project & workflow management) • Meta Business Suite / content scheduling tools • GA4, Meta Ads, Google Ads (basic-to-strong analytical understanding) • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) Core Skills • Strong written communication (premium, precise, structured writing) • Ability to manage two distinct brand voices without mixing them • Strong strategic thinking + execution balance • High attention to detail and quality control • Ability to say “no” to wrong creative or strategy decisions • Strong ownership mindset (end-to-end accountability) • Comfortable handling pressure and final responsibility for output quality Personality Fit • Calm, composed, and professional under pressure • High emotional intelligence and team handling ability • Discreet with confidential brand and client information • Strong aesthetic sense and understanding of premium design language • Highly accountable with no dependency on constant follow-ups • Mature in handling feedback and founder-level discussions Working Hours • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM HR Screening Questions 1. Total years of experience in Brand Management, Marketing, Account Management, or Brand Strategy? 2. Have you worked with luxury, premium, interior design, architecture, hospitality, real estate, or lifestyle brands? a. Please mention brand names and your role. 3. Have you worked with HNI/UHNI clientele? a. Briefly explain the type of audience and communication you handled. 4. Have you built or managed brand positioning, communication frameworks, content strategy, or brand guidelines? Please explain. 5. Have you managed more than one brand simultaneously? How did you maintain separate brand identities, messaging, and audience positioning for each brand? 6. Have you managed or led a team consisting of writers, designers, agencies, or digital marketers? What was the size of the team? 7. Have you worked directly with founders, business owners, or senior leadership? What was your level of interaction and responsibility? 8. Have you worked with media publications, PR agencies, partnerships, events, or luxury brand collaborations? Please share examples. 9. Which project management or workflow tools have you used? (Notion, Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp, Trello, etc.) 10. If you had to describe The Quarry and Design First in one sentence each, how would you differentiate their brand personalities? 11. Who were you reporting to? Name / Designation 12. Current CTC, Expected CTC, Notice Period and Current Designation? 13. What has been your average tenure across your recent roles, particularly in your last three organizations? We prefer candidates with stable and long-term employment rather than frequent job changes of 1–2 years. Please explain any tenure of less than 2 years. 14. Was there any career gap? If yes, please explain the reason. 15. Are you flexible working as per Design First’s office timings (Monday to Friday – full day, and Saturday – half day)? 16. Are you comfortable with the office location – Kanjurmarg & Marine Drive Location? (Base Location will be Kanjurmarg)
