Full job description

Talentra builds dedicated offshore teams in India for leading market research and insights firms. Founded by an operator with nearly three decades of experience building global teams across the US, UK, Canada, and India, Talentra is built on long term partnerships, dedicated full time placements, and full integration with the client’s operations.

The role:

We are hiring Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to join Talentra in India, embedded full time with a leading global market research and insights firm. You will own end to end delivery across a portfolio of concurrent research studies, coordinating internal teams and external vendors to keep work on track, on time, and on budget. Seniority reflects the scale and complexity of the programs you own.

Day to day:

Own a portfolio of concurrent projects from kickoff through delivery.
Scope and communicate requirements to internal teams and external partners.
Manage project setup, launch, and fieldwork across multiple studies.
Build and maintain realistic timelines, keeping all tasks current in the project platform.
Ensure project status is accurately reflected in the project management tool for clarity and tracking across the team.
Coordinate with survey programming and data processing to ensure smooth handoffs.
Review questionnaires and give feedback on respondent experience.
Manage external vendors for sampling, translations, and other needs: obtaining quotes, assessing feasibility, and making recommendations.
Monitor time and direct costs against budget, escalating variances early.
Verify vendor invoices against agreed scope and rates before approval.
Facilitate kickoff calls and align stakeholders on scope, timelines, and responsibilities.
Senior: own larger or more complex programs and the client facing delivery cadence, manage escalations, allocate work, and support other project managers.

What we’re looking for:

Project Manager: 1 to 2 years of market research project management experience.
Senior Project Manager: 3 to 5 years, including ownership of complex programs.
Solid knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
Experience managing online data collection and fieldwork.
Confident with project management systems and delivery tools; experience with ClickUp is an asset.
Commercial awareness: you understand how delivery decisions affect project budget and margin.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
