Lighting Designer

ATAICDS – Surat (Remote)

ATAICDS (ATA – I*nternational Consulting and Design Services) is a specialized design support firm delivering AEC Support services* to global clients, primarily in the United States.

We partner with designers, architects, and consulting firms to provide high-quality Revit Modelling, Designing, Drafting, and Documentation Support. Our focus is on precision, efficiency, and seamless collaboration across international teams.

As a growing organization, ATAICDS offers professionals the opportunity to work on diverse global projects while developing strong technical and coordination expertise.

Job Overview

We are looking for a Lighting Designer to contribute to international lighting design projects. This role involves Lighting layout development, photometric calculations, and coordination with global teams.

Key Responsibilities

Create detailed lighting layouts (wall-mounted and ceiling-mounted fixtures)
Perform photometric calculations using DiaLUX and AGi32
Find and verify IES files based on client-provided cut sheets
Prepare drawings and design documentation
Coordinate with internal teams and international clients
Drafting and Modelling Knowledge based on markups.

Required Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
Experience with Bluebeam Revu.
Hands-on experience with DiaLUX / AGi32.
Strong understanding of lighting layouts and drafting standards.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Proficiency in English.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Electrical/ Architecture.
Experience working on US-based projects is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of MEP Designing and Modelling is an advantage.
Diploma Holder with strong knowledge and experience can also apply.

IT Requirements

Ability to install and manage basic software and tools
Access to a quiet and professional work environment during working hours
Basic familiarity with remote collaboration tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet)
