About the Project
We are building an advanced AI-powered Digital Twin platform that transforms customer-specific data center requirements into interactive, real-time 3D environments. The platform leverages NVIDIA Omniverse, OpenUSD, cloud GPU infrastructure, and real-time streaming technologies to generate project-specific digital twins using production-grade assets and engineering workflows.
We are seeking an experienced NVIDIA Omniverse Digital Twin Developer to lead the development, integration, optimization, and stabilization of this platform.
Role Overview
The selected freelancer will be responsible for developing and deploying a scalable Digital Twin ecosystem capable of converting user-defined data center configurations into live 3D environments. The solution must support dynamic asset generation, real-time visualization, cloud deployment, and web-based streaming.
This is a hands-on technical role requiring expertise across Omniverse development, OpenUSD architecture, cloud GPU infrastructure, real-time streaming, and modern web integration.
Key Responsibilities: Digital Twin Development
- Design and develop Digital Twin workflows using NVIDIA Omniverse.
- Build and maintain Omniverse Kit extensions and custom tools.
- Implement dynamic scene generation based on user inputs such as:
- Data center racks
- Server clusters
- Cooling systems
- Electrical and power distribution equipment
- Room layouts and infrastructure configurations
- Develop scalable scene composition strategies using OpenUSD.
OpenUSD Architecture
- Create and manage complex USD scene structures.
- Implement:
- References
- Payloads
- Variants
- Prim path management
- Visibility control
- Asset instancing
- Optimize large-scale scene performance and asset loading.
Real-Time Visualization & Streaming
- Configure and troubleshoot NVIDIA Omniverse WebRTC streaming.
- Optimize user experience for remote real-time interaction.
- Resolve latency, streaming, rendering, and session management issues.
Cloud Infrastructure & Deployment
- Deploy and manage Omniverse workloads on GPU-enabled Kubernetes environments.
- Configure:
- Docker containers
- Persistent storage volumes
- Init containers
- Asset pipelines
- GPU resource allocation
- Support production-grade deployments on cloud platforms such as Civo, AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent.
Front-End Integration
- Integrate Omniverse streaming and APIs with web applications.
- Collaborate on React, Next.js, and TypeScript-based user interfaces.
- Enable seamless interaction between frontend workflows and Digital Twin generation engines.
Platform Stabilization & Optimization
- Diagnose and resolve:
- Asset loading failures
- USD composition issues
- GPU deployment challenges
- Kubernetes lifecycle problems
- Streaming reliability issues
- Improve scalability, maintainability, and production readiness.

- Experience deploying production Omniverse environments at scale.
- Understanding of BIM, CAD, and engineering data integration workflows.
Success Criteria
The successful candidate will help deliver a production-ready platform where customer requirements are automatically transformed into live, project-specific Digital Twins using real engineering assets and scalable cloud infrastructure.
The final solution should be reliable, performant, maintainable, and capable of supporting commercial deployment.
