Job Description:
Experienced professional in DCS and PLC systems with strong expertise in Cabinet design, assembly, and wiring. Proven track record in cabinet design and leading shop floor operations, including material handling, procurement, integration stores, production planning, and supervising system integrators to ensure timely completion. Skilled in guiding and supporting teams during pre-FAT and FAT activities, while ensuring adherence to dispatch timelines. Demonstrates strong people management abilities and effective collaboration with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors. Committed to maintaining a full-time presence on integration and staging floors, with flexibility for travel as required.
Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end cabinet integration execution from Kick-Off Meeting (KOM) through assembly, testing, customer acceptance, and final dispatch, ensuring delivery within committed schedules and project requirements.

Manage and oversee integration floor operations, including supervision of cabinet supervisors, technicians, stores personnel, and integration vendors to achieve safe, efficient, and high-quality execution.

Review, validate, and provide technical guidance on engineering deliverables, including cabinet drawings, wiring schematics, loop diagrams, BOMs, and material requisitions, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, supply chain, and project teams to secure approved deliverables, ensure timely material availability, and resolve execution dependencies impacting project schedules.

Plan and monitor production activities, resource allocation, and project progress, maintaining management dashboards and providing regular status updates to stakeholders.

Supervise cabinet manufacturing, assembly, and integration activities, ensuring adherence to technical requirements and quality standards across PLC, DCS, marshalling, network, server, IRP, PDB, LV, VFD, and related cabinet systems.

Oversee testing and quality assurance activities, including in-process inspections, QC checks, Pre-FAT, FAT, Megger, HV, and insulation resistance testing, ensuring readiness for customer acceptance and dispatch.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and process requirements throughout material handling, storage, manufacturing, testing, and delivery, while maintaining the highest standards of workplace safety and product quality.

Drive execution excellence under demanding timelines by proactively managing priorities, resolving bottlenecks, and ensuring on-time project completion.

Manage integration vendor performance and commercial activities, including competency assessment, resource evaluation, invoice verification, and overall service effectiveness.

Represent cabinet integration activities in customer and project review meetings, providing updates on integration progress, testing status, quality performance, risks, and delivery commitments.

Drive cost optimization and financial performance initiatives, including cost-overrun analysis, identification of improvement opportunities, and implementation of corrective actions in collaboration with engineering, proposal, and project teams.

Support continuous improvement and organizational learning by capturing lessons learned, sharing best practices, and contributing to future project planning, engineering improvements, and proposal development.

Participate in internal and external audits and support QMS initiatives, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and driving process improvement across integration operations.

Promote a strong customer-focused, collaborative, and accountable culture, ensuring high-quality project deliverables, stakeholder satisfaction, and sustained operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

Engineering bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, electrical or Electronics
- 15+ years of relevant industry experience.

Project management experience is preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of MS Excel advanced features and scripting is an added advantage.
