Full job description

We are looking for an experienced dbt Analytics Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data transformation and analytics solutions using dbt and modern cloud data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain dbt models, transformations, and data pipelines.
Build reusable, scalable, and well-documented data models.
Implement data quality tests, validations, and monitoring using dbt.
Optimize SQL queries and data transformation workflows.
Manage dbt projects, dependencies, macros, snapshots, and incremental models.
Integrate dbt with cloud data platforms and modern data stacks.
Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Business teams to deliver reliable analytics solutions.
Follow best practices for version control, CI/CD, documentation, and data governance.

Required Skills

4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or a related field.
Strong hands-on experience with dbt and SQL.
Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT, and modern data warehouses.
Knowledge of dbt tests, macros, snapshots, incremental models, and Jinja.
Experience with platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, or Redshift.
Proficiency with Git and CI/CD workflows.
Strong understanding of data quality, governance, and analytics best practices.

Certifications

Tier 1 – Required for Mid+: dbt Analytics Engineering Certification
Tier 2 – Preferred: dbt Developer Certification

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
