Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with 2–3 years of professional experience. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain accurate books of accounts including ledgers, journals, vouchers, and reconciliations.

· Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.

· Prepare and maintain Trial Balance and assist in finalization of financial statements.

· Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.

· Perform bank reconciliations and monitor company expenses.

· Coordinate with vendors for bill verification and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of invoices and payments.

· Conduct regular follow-ups with internal teams and vendors regarding payments, documentation, and reconciliations.

· Manage statutory compliances including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other regulatory filings.

· Handle statutory registrations and compliance on government portals such as GST, Income Tax, TRACES, EPFO, ESIC, GeM, DGFT, IEC, MCA, MSME, and E-Way Bill portals.

· Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

· Support internal and external audits by preparing financial data and required documentation.

· Ensure adherence to accounting standards, financial regulations, and company policies.

· Prepare and maintain daily accounting and operational reports for management review.

· Stay updated and adapt to new accounting techniques, our systems and financial software.

· Utilize AI tools in Accounting and Finance to improve efficiency, automation, and reporting.

· Be open-minded and flexible to adapt to the company’s working systems, processes, and evolving business requirements.

Required Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (CA Inter or MBA Finance is a plus).

· Strong knowledge of Tally ERP/Zoho Books/QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

· Familiarity with Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax).

· Good understanding of MS Excel and reporting tools.

· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

· Experience in handling accounts in a corporate or SME environment.

· Ability to meet deadlines and multitask effectively.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.

Qualification

· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (CA Inter or MBA Finance is a plus).
