QA/QC Manager
- Provide effective leadership and manage all activities of the quality assurance department.
- Implement FSSC 22000 standards across the facility.
- Assure the development, implementation plus verification effectiveness of quality systems affecting all aspects of manufacturing wrapping operators.
- Responsible for reviewing & analyzing data, in order to recognize trends as well as opportunities for improvement/corrective action, by using process capability and other statistical or quality engineering tools.
- Drive continuous improvement activities, which result in cost savings, higher efficiencies, and also high quality product performance.
- Responsible for establishing program, training and implementing with all appropriate personnel, HACCP,PCP ,export documentation,packaging regulation,ingredients regulations,cost calculation and also other quality systems identified under the accountabilities of quality assurance.
- Responsible for establishing as well as maintaining an assessment program, which includes internal-external assessment functions, in alignment with corporate quality assurance, Drives supplier quality performance in providing Troppy with safe, high quality ingredients materials.
- Oversee all operations of the food production plant, ensuring work processes are simplified, costs are reduced, and production processes run efficiently.
- Set key performance indicators (KPI), and develop new food production standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor quality assurance, investigates production or quality issues and recommends solutions.
- Must undergo training in internal food safety audits and serve on the organisation's food safety internal audit committee.
- You may be required to work in shifts and might be exposed to physically demanding work conditions such as long standing hours and hot or cold temperatures.
- Arrange plant visits and physical inspections by external auditors.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and prepare reports and work instructions.
- Draft capacity plans to evaluate sustainability of new or modified manufacturing processes.
- Establish food production strategies for sustainability.
- Establish production documentations and maintenance.
- Identify and implement yield opportunities and forecast yield targets.
- Implement new or modified production processes for regulatory approval, commissioning and operation.
- Implement test programmes to resolve hardware and major set-up issues in mass production.
- Improve operation planning through the use of big data and advanced analytics modelling.
- Investigate low yield and quality assurance.
- Investigate production or quality issues and recommend solutions.
- Lead key production processes in compliance with budget, schedules, quality control, and cross-departmental coordination.
- Lead working level communities to explore opportunities for improvement projects.
- Manage manpower, equipment, raw materials and ingredient resources to meet production objectives.
- Review regular production performance reports.
- Set food production key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support product quality and food safety processes to ensure that finished products meet specifications and regulatory standards
- Collaborate and lead cross functional team to reach project objectives includes but not limted to Marketing,Operations, Finance, SCM, and QA. Able to manage multiple projects and priorities, and work independently
- Maintain good working relationship and coordination with Operations team, Finance team and Supply Chain Management team with a view to ensuring proper implementation of new products consistent with the company’s short and long terms sales and profit growth objectives.
- Applies basic food science knowledge in ingredient functionality and process technology to develop new or improve existing products
- Monitor and follow up performance of new products launched both sales and quality, anticipates and analyzes causes affecting performance, and provide recommendation to Management and Operations to improve its performance
- Work with Purchasing team and Finance to conduct value analysis and ensure favorable Cost of Goods ratio to sales through cost implement project. Continue to track competitor and pricing analysis and try to position our product at the accessible price to consumers
- Prepare related reports on regular basis Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annually to Marketing Director, Management and Operations Team
- Responsible for pre & post analysis of all new products launch and report to Management and Operations Team
- Provide sales forecast of new products launch for purchasing department to insure effective stock management
- Demonstrates ability to understand and lead application of consumer research and experimental design (taste test verification)
- Show good communication skills both verbal and written, including timely and accurate documentation of work cascading to related parties to launch new products effectively at store level
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

- Report to senior management on company product technical issues as well as technical developments within the market

- Establish and maintain testing procedures for assessing raw materials, in both process and finished products
- Manage trial or testing programs for products/services through the management of staff and assignment of staff and utilization of resources
- Manage or mentor a team of research staff
- Budgeting and cost forecasting of technical development or research programs.
- Initiate R&D innovation which results in the development of new products to support marketing program/ promotion to deliver 100% customer satisfaction and achieve company’s business goals
- Lead new product development projects from concept to full launch which includes but not limited to developing product recipe, ingredients, sourcing suppliers, approving suppliers, selecting equipment, developing ops procedure and manuals
