Lead – Sales & Marketing | Drive the Revenue & Growth Engine for Agritech

We are an early-stage, mission-driven EdTech and Agritech platform bridging the gap between traditional agriculture and modern climate-smart practices. As our Lead of Sales & Marketing, you will sit at the absolute intersection of product and market, taking full ownership of our revenue trajectory.

THE MISSION: WHAT YOU WILL OWN
- Revenue & P&L Ownership: Take absolute accountability for monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. You will orchestrate the commercial strategy across both our B2C segment (Individual Student Certifications via our LMS) and our B2B/Institutional segment (Corporate CSR, NGOs, Universities, and FPOs).
- Funnel Strategy & Infrastructure: Architect our sales and marketing engine from scratch. You will implement the CRM infrastructure, design automated lead-scoring models, setup multi-channel marketing campaigns (Meta, Google, WhatsApp, Email), and eliminate lead leakage entirely.
- High-Value Partnerships: Remain hands-on in the field. Personally lead high-ticket negotiations, pitch to institutional stakeholders, and secure long-term collaborations with corporate and agricultural organizations.
- Data, Metrics & Decision-Making: Move past vanity metrics. You will live in the data—ruthlessly monitoring and optimizing CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), LTV (Lifetime Value), Lead-to-Enrollment conversion rates, and ROI across all marketing spends to drive board-level decisions.
- Team Development & Playbook Creation: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of Sales Executives and CRM Associates. You aren't just managing them; you are writing the exact sales playbooks, objection-handling scripts, and closing frameworks they will follow.
CORE ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES1. Commercial Strategy & Institutional Sales (B2B)
- Identify, pitch, and close high-value partnerships with Agricultural Universities, Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs), NGOs, and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs).
- Develop tailored corporate packages for environmental sustainability programs and CSR-driven skilling initiatives.
2. B2C Performance Marketing & Growth
- Oversee digital marketing campaigns across Meta Ads, Google Ads, and YouTube to ensure a steady pipeline of high-quality incoming leads for our LMS courses.
- Collaborate with the design and content teams to ensure high-converting ad copy, landing pages, and visual creative assets.
3. CRM & EdTech Sales Operations (The Playbook)
To build a world-class revenue engine, you will establish, oversee, and optimize the core functions of an EdTech CRM framework:
- Lead Management & Tracking: Standardize how incoming queries via Web, Calls, and WhatsApp are captured, segmented, and assigned in the CRM system (e.g., Zoho, HubSpot, Frappe).
- Academic Counseling Standards: Train the team to function as educational counselors—understanding learner profiles, resolving friction points, and articulating course ROI.
- Funnel Hygiene & Nurturing: Design automated and manual re-engagement campaigns for dropped or cold leads.
- LMS Integration & Onboarding: Standardize the post-payment workflow to ensure instant, friction-free student onboarding, document verification, and course access.
WHO YOU ARE (THE MUST-HAVES)
- 4+ Years of Proven Success: Strictly within EdTech, Upskilling, Training platforms, or B2B SaaS sales. You have a documented track record of hitting and exceeding P&L targets.
- The Player-Coach Mindset: High agency, low ego. You are as comfortable writing a marketing email copy or making a cold pitch as you are presenting a macro-growth strategy deck to leadership.
- Data-Obsessed: You understand how sales infrastructure directly impacts the bottom line. Excel, data analytics, and CRM dashboards are your native languages.
