About the Role
SkyRoute is seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our new rooftop restaurant and bar at OCUS Medley Mall, Dwarka Expressway. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining bar standards, and contributing to a vibrant rooftop atmosphere.
The role requires strong product knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to perform efficiently during high-volume service periods.
Key ResponsibilitiesBeverage Preparation & Service
- Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Recommend drinks and pairings based on guest preferences and menu offerings.
- Create signature cocktails and seasonal beverage specials in collaboration with management.
- Ensure all beverages are served promptly and professionally.
Guest Experience
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide excellent product knowledge and recommendations.
- Build rapport with regular guests and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain a welcoming and energetic atmosphere at the bar.
Bar Operations
- Set up and close the bar according to company procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment requirements.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all beverages and ingredients.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock reconciliation.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow all liquor laws, company policies, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Verify guest age where required.
- Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure safe handling of glassware, equipment, and bar tools.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with service staff, kitchen teams, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Support special events, private parties, live music nights, and promotional activities.
- Assist in training junior bartenders and bar assistants when required.
RequirementsExperience
- Minimum 2–5 years of bartending experience in restaurants, bars, lounges, hotels, or hospitality venues.
- Experience in high-volume restaurant and bar environments preferred.
- Rooftop, premium casual dining, or nightlife experience is an advantage.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and beverage trends.
- Ability to prepare classic and contemporary cocktails.
- Knowledge of bar equipment and beverage preparation techniques.
- Understanding of inventory control and stock management.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
