As we continue expanding our impact, we are building a strong executive leadership team capable of transforming vision into scalable execution. We are seeking a highly committed and entrepreneurial Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help lead the organization through its next phase of growth.
Role Overview
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will serve as a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, strategic execution, organizational growth, partnerships, program delivery, and team management.
The ideal candidate will be capable of building systems, managing cross-functional teams, driving operational excellence, and ensuring successful implementation of organizational initiatives across innovation, incubation, education, startup ecosystem development, and strategic partnerships.
This is a high-impact leadership role suited for individuals who aspire to build and scale a national-level organization from the ground up.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership
- Work closely with the Founder and Board to execute organizational vision and long-term strategy.
- Develop operational plans, growth roadmaps, and execution frameworks.
- Drive organizational expansion across multiple states and sectors.
Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations, programs, projects, and organizational activities.
- Establish and optimize systems, processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of organizational resources.
Program & Ecosystem Development
- Supervise incubation, entrepreneurship, education, research, and innovation programs.
- Monitor program execution, deliverables, outcomes, and impact metrics.
- Ensure high-quality implementation of workshops, bootcamps, accelerators, fellowships, and startup initiatives.
Partnerships & Stakeholder Management
- Build strategic relationships with universities, government agencies, corporates, investors, incubators, and ecosystem partners.
- Lead negotiations, collaborations, MoUs, and institutional partnerships.
- Represent the organization at conferences, innovation forums, and national events.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, mentor, and manage operational, program, and business development teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Establish performance management and reporting mechanisms.
Financial & Organizational Oversight
- Support budgeting, resource planning, and financial sustainability initiatives.
- Monitor operational expenditures and project-level financial performance.
- Assist leadership in fundraising, sponsorships, grants, and strategic growth opportunities.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, legal frameworks, and operational standards.
- Maintain documentation, reports, compliance records, and performance reviews.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, Public Policy, or related fields.
- 3–10 years of experience in operations, program management, startups, consulting, incubation, entrepreneurship development, or organizational leadership.
- Experience working with startups, incubators, accelerators, educational institutions, government projects, or ecosystem-building initiatives is preferred.

- Strong proficiency in project management, stakeholder engagement, and operational planning.
Important Note
This is a leadership role with a deferred compensation structure during the initial growth phase of the organization.
All responsibilities, deliverables, timelines, compensation terms, confidentiality clauses, and leadership expectations will be clearly outlined in a legally binding agreement prior to onboarding.
