Full job description

Delivery / Functional Lead (SAP MM / MDG and Project Management)

Experience Required:

o 10+ years of SAP consulting experience

o Minimum 8+ years in SAP MM and Material Master domain

o Minimum 3 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects in leadership role

o Proven experience managing SAP delivery teams and client stakeholders

o Strong experience in SAP MDG, Classification System, and cataloging solutions

o Experience in Oil & Gas / Engineering / Procurement-intensive industries preferred

Skills Required:

o Functional Expertise

▪ SAP MM Configuration and Solution Design

▪ SAP Material Master Management

▪ SAP Classification System (Classes & Characteristics)

▪ SAP MDG-M (Master Data Governance – Material)

▪ Procurement and Inventory Management

▪ Engineering Catalog Management

▪ Data Governance and Standardization

▪ Material Taxonomy and Description Logic

▪ Duplicate Identification & Data Cleansing Processes

▪ SAP Integration Processes

o Leadership & Delivery Skills

▪ End-to-end project delivery management

▪ Stakeholder and executive management

▪ Requirement workshops and business consulting

▪ Functional solution architecture

▪ Team leadership and coordination

▪ Vendor and offshore team management

▪ Risk and issue management

▪ Resource planning and milestone tracking

▪ UAT and deployment governance

▪ Client communication and reporting

o Technical Understanding

▪ Strong understanding of SAP ABAP developments

▪ Knowledge of SAP Enhancements (BAdIs/User Exits)

▪ Understanding of SAP Fiori/UI5 applications

▪ Familiarity with integration architecture and custom developments

Roles & Responsibilities:

o Lead overall functional delivery of the SAP cataloging transformation program

o Act as the primary functional lead and client-facing delivery manager

o Manage project scope, milestones, risks, and delivery timelines

o Coordinate onsite/offshore teams across functional and technical workstreams

o Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solution design

o Conduct steering committee and stakeholder review meetings

o Drive issue resolution and escalation management

o Monitor quality, governance, and compliance throughout project lifecycle

o Ensure successful deployment, cutover, and hypercare support

Pay: ₹85,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
