Senior Oracle EPM Consultant responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting solutions using Oracle EPBCS / PBCS and Smart View. Serve as the technical and functional lead for EPM projects, drive integrations with HR and finance systems, and enable finance and HR stakeholders with self‑service reporting, automated reconciliations, and robust governance.
Lead EPM implementations: gather requirements, design solution architecture, build EPBCS/PBCS models, run unit/integration/UAT, and manage cutover and hypercare.
EPM design & model development: design planning models, dimensions, hierarchies, business rules, and security models to support driver‑based planning, rolling forecasts, workforce planning, capex, and scenario modelling.
Calculation scripts & automation: develop and optimize calculation scripts (Calc Manager, Groovy), business rules, and automation to ensure accurate, performant calculations and fast aggregation.
Smart View development: create and maintain Smart View report packs, ad‑hoc templates, Smart View scripts/macros, and management reporting artifacts for finance and HR users.
Data forms & user experience: design and implement EPM data forms and input templates for planners and business users, ensuring usability, validations, and auditability.
Integrations & ETL: manage FDMEE/Data Management mappings, flat‑file and FBDI loads, REST API and OIC connectors, and other integration patterns to ensure timely, auditable data flows between GL, subledgers, HRMS/payroll, and EPM.
Essbase / cube management: design Essbase cubes, aggregation strategies, calculation scripts, and performance tuning for large datasets and complex calculations.
Financial consolidation & close support: support intercompany eliminations, currency translation, consolidation rules, and month‑end reconciliations to ensure subledger‑to‑GL traceability.
Automation & reconciliations: automate journal generation, data validations, and reconciliations between EPM outputs and GL to reduce manual effort and close cycle time.
Governance, security & change control: define EPM governance, version control, security models, release management, and change control processes for planning artifacts and calculation logic.
Stakeholder enablement & training: run workshops, create user guides, and train finance and HR teams on EPBCS/PBCS processes, Smart View usage, and reporting best practices.
Cross‑functional collaboration: work with HRIS/payroll, finance, IT, and integration teams to align COA/SLA impacts, payroll subledger flows, and reporting requirements.
Production support & optimization: provide ongoing production support, troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and continuously optimize models and scripts for performance and scalability.
