Full job description

Job Summary

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, payroll-related activities, GST and TDS compliance, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and supporting audit and financial closing processes. The role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy in financial records, and adherence to statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities GST Compliance

∙Prepare and reconcile GST data on a monthly and periodic basis. ∙Prepare and file GST returns within statutory deadlines. ∙Verify GST-related records, invoices, and compliance documentation. ∙Ensure compliance with applicable GST regulations and requirements.

TDS Compliance

∙Prepare and file TDS returns accurately and within prescribed timelines. ∙Reconcile TDS data and statutory deductions. ∙Maintain proper records and supporting documents related to TDS compliance.

Accounting & Bookkeeping

∙Record day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally. ∙Perform ledger scrutiny and account reconciliations. ∙Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts. ∙Verify accounting transactions and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness. ∙Ensure proper maintenance of financial records and documentation.

Payroll & Employee Statutory Compliance

∙Handle payroll-related activities and employee compliance processes. ∙Process and maintain statutory employee deductions and records, including: ∙Coordinate statutory compliance activities related to employee benefits and deductions

. Audit & Financial Closing Support

∙Assist in financial year-end closing activities. ∙Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents for statutory audits. ∙Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial information and documentation. ∙Support verification and reconciliation activities during audits. ∙Ensure timely closure of books of accounts and preparation of supporting schedules.

Qualifications

∙Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or related field. ∙Additional qualifications in Accounting, Taxation, or Finance will be an added advantage.

Experience

∙2–5 years of experience in Accounting, Taxation, GST, TDS, Payroll, and Statutory Compliance. ∙Hands-on experience in Tally and statutory return filing.

Required Skills

∙Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, EPF, ESI, PT, and LWF compliance. ∙Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel. ∙Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping. ∙Strong analytical and reconciliation skills. ∙Attention to detail and accuracy. ∙Ability to manage multiple deadlines and statutory compliance requirements. ∙Good communication and coordination skills.

Experience Required:

2–5 Years

Industry Preference: Construction / Real Estate / Infrastructure / Manufacturing / Any Relevant Industry.
