Role Overview

The Business Development Executive (BDE) will play a pivotal role in driving revenue expansion at Edgistify. The core objective of this role is to systematically generate high-quality leads, execute strategic multi-channel outbound outreach, engage senior logistics/supply chain decision-makers, and rigorously qualify prospective clients based on their supply chain requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify, target, and initiate contact with enterprise prospects, B2B clients, and fast-growing D2C/Retail brands requiring customized 3PL and fulfillment solutions.
Multi-Channel Outbound Outreach: Plan and execute aggressive outbound reach campaigns across cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and industry events to connect with C-level executives, Supply Chain Heads, and Logistics Operations Leads.
Buyer Qualification & Need Analysis: Conduct structured discovery conversations to evaluate prospect requirements, pain points, warehouse location needs, order volumes, and technology requirements to qualify them into viable sales opportunities.
Pipeline Management: Maintain clean pipeline data and activity tracking within the company CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting and consistent follow-through across all open opportunities.
Market Intelligence: Track supply chain industry trends, competitor movements, and emerging market opportunities to continuously refine outreach pitch messaging.

Prerequisites & Eligibility Criteria

Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of proven experience in Business Development or B2B Sales, specifically handling complex sales cycles and consultative selling environments.
Educational Qualification: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree (Graduate) in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field from a recognized university.
Career Continuity (Strict Rule): No gap between education and work experience, or between subsequent employment roles. Candidates must demonstrate an uninterrupted academic and professional background.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to articulate complex technical and logistics concepts to senior leadership.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to analyze logistics operations, understand unit economics, and formulate data-backed solutions for prospective clients.
