Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Data Analyst Trainer (Marketing & Decision Making) to train and mentor students in data analysis concepts with a strong focus on marketing insights and business decision-making. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging online sessions, create practical learning experiences, and help students develop analytical and data-driven thinking skills for real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver live online training sessions on data analytics for marketing and business decision-making.
Teach core concepts including:
Fundamentals of Data Analysis
Marketing Analytics & Metrics
Data Visualization & Storytelling
Excel for Data Analysis
SQL Basics for Data Handling
Google Analytics & Web Analytics
Dashboard Creation (Power BI / Tableau)
A/B Testing & Performance Analysis
Data-Driven Decision Making
Train students on tools such as Excel, Google Analytics, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, etc.
Design and update curriculum, assignments, and real-world case studies.
Provide hands-on training through live datasets and practical projects.
Guide students in building portfolios (dashboards, reports, case studies).
Conduct assessments, feedback sessions, and track student progress.
Mentor students on career paths in data analytics and marketing analytics.
Collaborate with the academic team to improve course quality and outcomes.
Stay updated with the latest analytics tools, trends, and technologies.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in data analysis, marketing analytics, or training.
Strong understanding of marketing metrics and business decision-making frameworks.
Experience in online teaching or virtual training platforms is preferred.

Required Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to explain complex data concepts in a simple manner
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau)
Knowledge of Google Analytics and marketing analytics tools
Proficiency in Zoom, Google Meet, or LMS platforms

Preferred Skills

Certifications in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or Google Analytics
Experience with Python or R for data analysis
Hands-on experience with real-world marketing campaigns and analytics
Familiarity with AI tools for data analysis and reporting

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Student engagement and course completion rate
Quality of student dashboards and analytical projects
Student feedback and satisfaction scores
Placement or career transition outcomes

Education:

Master's (Preferred)

Experience:

Data Analysis / Marketing Analytics: 4 years (Required)
Teaching online: 3 years (Required)
