Full job description

Full-Stack Unity Developer – Interactive Games & Real-Time Systems

Company: Moptiq
Location: Faridabad, Delhi NCR
Employment Type: Full-time, on-site
Experience: 3+ years preferred

About Moptiq

Moptiq is building a new generation of physical-digital gaming experiences designed to get people moving and playing together.

Our platform combines Unity games, high-speed computer vision, motion tracking and large-format projection. Players use real footballs, bows, Nerf blasters and body movement to interact with digital game environments.

We are looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Unity Developer who can take ownership of complete games—from gameplay and animations to tracking integration, operator interfaces, leaderboards and deployment at physical venues.

What You Will Do

Design and develop engaging 2D and 3D games in Unity.
Turn game concepts into playable prototypes quickly and improve them through physical playtesting.
Build gameplay involving footballs, projectiles, player movement and other real-world interactions.
Develop game mechanics, physics, animations, UI, audio, VFX, scoring and difficulty progression.
Integrate Unity with our computer-vision and motion-tracking systems through UDP, TCP, WebSockets or REST APIs.
Handle coordinate conversion, calibration data, tracking confidence, latency and temporary loss of tracking.
Build or integrate operator interfaces for player registration, game selection and session management.
Develop backend services for player profiles, scores, sessions, challenges and leaderboards.
Connect games to databases and web-based APIs.
Build local multiplayer and team-based game modes.
Optimize games for stable real-time performance on Windows PCs and large projected displays.
Integrate projectors, cameras, sound systems, sensors and other venue hardware.
Create reliable builds, configuration tools, logs and automatic recovery mechanisms for venue operation.
Test games in our physical setup and troubleshoot software and hardware integration issues.
Work closely with the founders, vision engineers, 3D artists and game designers.

Required Skills

Strong practical experience with Unity and C#.
Solid understanding of Unity physics, animation, prefabs, UI, particle systems and scene management.
Experience developing complete games or interactive applications.
Experience integrating Unity with external APIs or real-time data sources.
Knowledge of UDP/TCP communication, REST APIs, JSON and WebSockets.
Backend development experience using Python, Node.js, C#/.NET or a similar technology.
Familiarity with SQL or cloud databases.
Strong debugging, profiling and performance-optimization skills.
Experience using Git and maintaining clean, modular code.
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for complete features.
Willingness to work full-time from our Faridabad office, as regular testing with physical equipment is essential.

Good to Have

Experience with motion capture, computer vision, Kinect, RealSense or other tracking systems.
Experience with projection mapping, multi-display installations or location-based entertainment.
Understanding of coordinate systems, camera calibration and 3D transformations.
Experience developing arcade, sports, multiplayer or party games.
Shader Graph, VFX Graph or custom shader experience.
Experience with Android-based HMI or companion applications.
Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for creating, texturing, rigging or animating 3D assets.
Experience deploying and remotely supporting games at customer locations.

Who We Are Looking For

You should enjoy building things that combine software with the physical world. This position is suited to someone who can move from an idea to a working prototype, test it with actual players and continue improving it until it becomes a reliable commercial game.

A strong portfolio and evidence of what you have personally built will matter more than formal qualifications alone.
