Commercial Technology Lead – SAP S/4HANA
Experience: 15+ Years
Shift: General IST Shift

Location: Remote

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Technology Lead – SAP S/4HANA with 15+ years of IT experience and strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Commercial processes, particularly Sales & Distribution (SD/OTC), Settlement Management, Condition Contract Management (CCM), Trade Spend, and Revenue Growth Management (RGM).

The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in the Retail, FMCG, or CPG industry and a proven track record of leading large-scale SAP S/4HANA migration, rollout, and transformation programs.

Key ResponsibilitiesSAP S/4HANA Commercial Technology Leadership

Lead the strategic design, configuration, and multi-country deployment of SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD/OTC) and Settlement Management processes.
Drive standard SAP adoption while ensuring clean-core principles and scalable architecture.
Lead commercial technology transformation initiatives across global and regional business units.

Enterprise Integration Architecture

Lead integrations between SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP applications in collaboration with integration teams and regional application owners.
Ensure secure and seamless transaction processing with retail partners, wholesalers, distributors, and third-party systems.
Drive B2B and EDI integration architecture using SAP Integration Suite, MuleSoft, or similar middleware platforms.

Omnichannel & E-Commerce Integration

Ensure seamless and real-time integration between SAP S/4HANA and digital commerce platforms.
Manage synchronization of pricing, product catalog/master data, inventory visibility, and order orchestration.
Support end-to-end omnichannel commercial processes.

Revenue Growth Management & Trade Spend

Architect and integrate RGM and Trade Promotion Management (TPM) applications with SAP S/4HANA.
Manage SAP Condition Contract Management (CCM) and Settlement Management processes.
Drive automation for promotional accruals, customer rebates, trade claims validation, rebate settlements, and retailer deduction management.

Testing, Cutover & Hypercare

Testing

Define and govern the overall testing strategy.
Supervise SIT, UAT, performance testing, and regression testing.
Work closely with business stakeholders and testing teams for sign-offs and quality assurance.

Cutover

Lead detailed, dependency-driven Cutover planning and execution.
Manage business downtime windows, data reconciliation, rollback strategies, and contingency planning.
Ensure smooth transition during SAP S/4HANA migration and rollout activities.

Hypercare

Lead post-go-live support and War Room activities.
Resolve critical incidents related to pricing, invoicing, delivery blocks, and commercial transactions.
Ensure a structured transition from Hypercare to Application Managed Services (AMS).

Governance & Stakeholder Management

Manage Steering Committee meetings, Change Advisory Boards (CAB), configuration freezes, and release governance.
Work across global and regional teams using multi-tier rollout delivery models.
Provide technology leadership and collaborate with business, functional, technical, and integration teams.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Minimum 15 years of overall IT experience.
At least 10 years of senior-level experience in Commercial Technology roles.
Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD/OTC).
Proven experience with SAP Settlement Management and Condition Contract Management (CCM).
Strong knowledge of:
Customer Rebates
Automated Accruals
Trade Claims Management
Rebate Settlements
Promotional and Trade Spend Processes
Experience leading at least one major end-to-end SAP S/4HANA migration, implementation, or rollout.
Strong experience in Retail / FMCG / CPG industry – Mandatory.
Deep understanding of Middleware and Enterprise Integration Architecture.
Hands-on knowledge of:
SAP Integration Suite
B2B/EDI Architecture
MuleSoft or similar middleware platforms
Non-SAP application integrations
Experience managing global and regional SAP rollout programs.
Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on multi-country SAP S/4HANA deployments.
Experience in Omnichannel and E-Commerce integrations.
Knowledge of Revenue Growth Management (RGM) and Trade Promotion Management (TPM).
Experience with Application Managed Services (AMS) transition and post-go-live support.
Strong experience working with global business and technology stakeholders.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹170,000.00 per month

Experience:
